The sun may set, but the fun doesn't end there in the bustling capital city of Malaysia. Come nightfall, there is still so much for you to explore and experience in Kuala Lumpur, known for its skyscrapers, good food and unique sights.
Truly a destination that you would want to stay awake for, the city is home to a vibrant nightlife scene and after dark experiences. From evening dinners with city skyline views to colourfully lit-up parks, we've compiled this list of the top 21 things to do in KL at night.
#KlookTip: Make your KL nighttime exploration even easier by booking a private night tour of Kuala Lumpur through Klook, which includes a local supper and drop-off at selected KL hotels!
Top 21 best things to do in KL at night 🌃
1. KL City of Lights tour
Personally, we can't think of any better way to experience the beauty of KL at night other than with the KL City of Lights Tour. Ride on the hop-on hop-off bus as you are brought around on a comfortable ride across the city to see all of Kuala Lumpur's unique landmarks and famous attractions, all beautifully lit up at night.
#KlookTip: The bus seats are limited and are occupied on a first come, first serve basis, so we highly recommend reaching on time or earlier for the session to secure a seat at the open-air upper deck.
- Address: Sungei Wang Plaza, Bukit Bintang, 55100 Kuala Lumpur
2. Sunway Lagoon Night Park
Visiting theme parks at night is truly a unique experience and a must-try! Sunway Lagoon has officially opened their Night Park, with nighttime-exclusive performances and fun attractions to look forward to once the sun sets, including 8 exciting rides and a pretty interesting cow-milking experience at the Farm Fresh Barn. Personally, we think that the best part is being able to enjoy the theme park attractions minus the daytime heat!

3. Dinner at ARAS Revolving Restaurant
KL has an extensive list of beautiful dining spots in the city, but ARAS Revolving Restaurant at KL Tower definitely takes the cake. 10. 99 Wonderland Park
Although situated a little further out from the city, we still had to include 99 Wonderland Park. This gem of an attraction is a unique nighttime recreational and wildlife park surrounding a serene 23-acre lake. When the sun goes down, the park would be lit up with enchanting light structures and a mesmerising musical fountain show becomes the centrepiece of it all.
