Vivid Sydney is finally back after a two year hiatus. With an 8km Light Walk which covers more than 50 incredible light art projections and installations, you'll for sure need to refuel and recharge along the way. If you're wondering where you can stop for some quick Vivid-themed bites or where you can chill out and drink while soaking in the Vivid lights, we've got you covered!
There are many speciality menus, food stalls, pop-ups and dinner cruises exclusive to Vivid Sydney this year. To help you decide what to taste at Vivid Sydney, we've rounded up some of the most unique and fun things to eat and drink during this year's festival and where to find them:
1. The Rocks
Street Food Live
Located between the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia and Cruise Bar at The Rocks,
there's a bunch of pop-up street food vans serving a range of yummy foods including deep-fried ice cream, corn dogs, stroopwafels, light-up bubble tea and fairy floss! With so much to choose from, this is the place to go for a quick bite and harbour views.
Endeavour Tap Rooms
This popular brewery is stepping up the beer game with a GLIVID Beer Tasting Paddle! You can mix and match 4 of Endeavour's tap brews and see the rainbow glitter in your glasses.
2. Darling Quarter
Lights & Bites at Darling Square
At Darling Square, you'll also find a range of pop-up food stalls for Vivid Sydney serving more yummy foods like crepes, jaffles and burritos.
Apart from street food, some eateries at Darling Square are offering special set menus just for Vivid Sydney 2022:
Auvers Cafe has launched a special vibrant Vivid menu including limited edition glowing shots and cocktails for the grown-ups.
Bubble Nini Tea at Darling Square has also introduced two Vivid exclusive drinks which come with a free limited edition glow-in-the-dark gift with every purchase.
House of Bombay Bar
Iconic gin brand Bombay Sapphire has teamed up with Vivid Sydney Light Walk artist Elliott Routledge and music producer Nicky Night Time to create the House of Bombay Bar. This bar will bring a sensory experience with some wonderful drink selections allowing guests to spark their creativity. The House of Bombay bar will be open from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. every night from May 27th to June 18th.
3. Sydney Harbour
Vivid Sydney Cruise with Canapés and Drinks
Enjoy a 90 minute cruise on a luxury catamaran around Sydney Harbour which will offer you uninterrupted views of Vivid Sydney’s lights while indulging in sweet and savoury canapés and a glass of complimentary wine or beer.
Vivid Sydney 3-Course Fine Dining Dinner Cruise
Make your Vivid Sydney experience more lavish with a fine dining dinner cruise along Sydney Harbour. Get inspired by the lights of Vivid Sydney while indulging in a luxurious and intimate 3-course dinner cruise.
Opera Bar
Opera Bar is serving up three new Vivid-themed cocktails and snacks like rainbow blondies with candied popcorn and colourful crudites. Not only is there free live music at Opera Bar, but you'll also get front row seats to Lighting of the Sails, Our Connected City and the Paramount+ night flight show!
4. Sydney CBD
Vivid Sydney Dinner
Vivid Sydney Dinner is a one-night-only sensory feast honouring 'The Soul of Our City,' including some of Sydney's most brilliant entertainers and renowned chefs. On Sat 4 Jun at 6:30 p.m., Dan Hong of Mr. Wong’s and Mike Eggert of Totti’s create a special cuisine that recalls the finest of Sydney through the freshest, seasonal ingredients, served alongside great matched wines and world-class light displays from Vivid Sydney.
The master of colour Ken Done and journalist and presenter of ABC's 'The Drum' Julia Baird as they share their 'love letters' to Sydney, hosted by actor, performer, singer, and TV presenter Justine Clarke. Ngaiire, a neo-soul singer-songwriter, Virginia Gay, an actor/writer/singer, jazz impresario James Morrison AM, and DJ Kate Monroe will take you on a musical journey throughout the evening with one-of-a-kind performances.

5. Barangaroo
The Waiting Room is offering a limited edition Vivid high tea. Apart from delicious tea, you'll also get a glimpse of Wulugul Walk and Corpus Celesti.
Lotus Barangaroo has added two new Vivid-themed items to their menu for guests to slurp on: a 'Starry Night' cocktail and Singapore Crab xiao long bao dumplings.
