Zoo Negara Operating Hours
Zoo Negara is open daily from 9AM - 5PM. We highly recommend heading over early once it opens to cover as much as you can in a day. There are also animal shows scheduled twice per day as well as feeding times at selected exhibits - the timings are subject to change, so be sure to double-check the show timings on the official Zoo Negara site to plan your visit accordingly.
Best Time To Visit
As mentioned above, it is best to visit the zoo as early as you can so you don't have to rush through the exhibits. We recommend checking the weather forecast before heading over so you can pack accordingly to ensure a comfortable time during your visit. Most of the area in the zoo is unshaded and you'll be walking a lot to check out the different exhibits, so it's best to pack a cap, umbrella, and bring along a bottle of water to keep yourself hydrated at all times.
Do also note that the zoo can get crowded on weekends and the school holidays, so make sure you check the calendar while you plan your visit. Pre-book your admission tickets on Klook to enjoy discounted rates!
