Chiang Kai-Shek Shihlin Residence Park tours

The tour is jam-packed, not for weak people. food in jiufen old street is great and must try. it was raining when we go there so i recommend to us raincoat than umbrella for easy movement. our tour guide is okay, but can do better by explaining and giving us knowledge about the place but she didn’t. overall it was an exhausting tour but still worth it.

Cindy was the BEST guide we could’ve asked for. Her expertise made visiting Yehliu, Shifen, and Jiufen very enjoyable. if we tried planning visits to these sites on our own, it would’ve been a logistical headache, but Cindy knew how to navigate us through the crowds in some places so that we spent more time enjoying the sites and less time figuring out where to go first and what to see. She even helped preorder some popular snacks so that we didn’t have to waste any time waiting in long lines. The times spent at each site was just right—not too short and not too long. and Cindy’s wit and humor made the bus ride in between very engaging. we wouldn’t hesitate recommending this tour to anyone, and if you are lucky to have Cindy as your guide, you’ll have a special bonus!

The Free Walking City Tour in Taipei was an incredible experience! Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing the history and culture of the city. The tour was great, and the guide was excellent—very professional and accommodating. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate, as it was raining hard with very strong winds, it was also extremely foggy that made it hard to see anything. Despite this, the experience was still enjoyable thanks to the guide's efforts and people we met during the trip. Have to do this trip again to really see its real beauty.

Wallis was the guide assigned to us and she just poured out her knowledge and personal insights regarding every places we visited, and also recommended some place for us to have some replenishment. this is a slow paced tour in Yilan with 4 destinations. our tour guide Vincent done a great job introducing Yilan and what it has to offer (main product is rice) he can speak English very well with no local accent so you can understand him very well. He also gave us facts about other locations in Taiwan and recommendations where to go and eat that locals frequent to. even after the tour he is responsive to my whatsapp message asking for an event in Lungshan Temple. 1 - Lanyang Museum, since we have limited time, we just roam around and take pictures. you are not required to buy tickets to go inside. 2 - we ate lunch just near lanyang museum. note that the food there is already good for sharing per order. 3 - Animal Farm this is the highlight and the reason i booked this tour. its just a small area with 3 parts. too bad it’s raining we didn’t have the chance to put the baby capybaras on our lap. there’s a free scallion cake and ice cream cake after you roam around 😊 4 - Loudong Forest you can smell the trees used for moth ball. the place is serene and has an old train installation. the train station is interesting it’s like you are in a Anime scene (Demon Slayer Mugen train 😆) Lastly 5 - Loudong Night Market, it’s kinda rainy that night so most of the food stalls recommended by Vincent was closed. the food and milktea prices are a lot cheaper than in Ximending area. overall would recommend this tour especially if you would like to go countryside that would not take too much traveling time. PS. you would go through the longest tunnel in Taiwan if you go to Yilan) 💕

firstly, it’s good to use Klook to book a day trip. the trip I booked was fantastic, very comfortable big coach, very friendly tour guide, we visited quite a few places, took nice photos and enjoyed desserts.
