It was an ok trip if you are planning to do just an hour to visit Kyoto and Nara. Too bad though for us as it was so hot during the tour.

You can enter directly with the ticket. If you arrive too late in the day, you can only see the night view. Judging from the picture of Kyoto, I would recommend the daytime view.
