Maruyama Park tours

We had an amazing experience on our recent trip! Despite the rain, we made the most of it and truly enjoyed every moment. Feeding the seagulls was such a unique experience, and it added a fun twist to the day. Our tour guide, Lily, was outstanding, friendly, accommodating, and always ready to make sure we were having a good time. Thank you for a wonderful experience; we would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

overall nice exprience for that price. the tour does not cover enterance fee. the highlight for the kids is the nara deer park where you can buy deer feeds and the deer will chase you. the tour guide did warn us they are wild animals so you need to be careful they may bite and kick. the temples we went need to do some walking so remember to wear comfortable walking shoe.

This tour is highly recommended. Visiting the old streets and temples takes you back to the past. Our tour guide, Steven, was very helpful and very thoughtful as he toured us around great tourist spots and gave recommendations for good food. He also gave us bottled water for drinks and some japanses snacks. Thanks Steven. Will definitely book this tour again when i return next year with my parents.

We went on a tour with many Chinese speaking people and only 3 English speaking. Our Tour Guide, Jun, ensured we were included in the conversation along with all the other passengers. Thank you for having us along for the ride, Jun. it was a pleasure riding with you!!!

We had an enlightening experience walking through the Gion streets. Zeid, our fife gave detailed explanations about the construction of the houses, the Geisha lifestyle and about the Shinto and Buddhist religion.

Excellent Day Trip. Smooth journey. Saw all the sights as advertised. The lunch was simple but nice and sufficient. (not strong tastes but Kyoto food is not heavy in taste). Guide “Tammy” Tamiya-San was friendly, knowledgeable, and speaks good English. She walks fast! As there are 4 main sights to see, one needs to be able to walk long distances and maintain a good pace, otherwise it may not be a good selection. Driver was on-time, efficient and safe. Not all drivers on the road are careful. Due to the world heritage areas visited, sometimes the bus park is a good 10-15mins walk away (steady pace, not a stroll). It was a very nice cool cloudy relatively windless day - good to see the Kinkaku-ji reflection in the waters. Really enjoyed it!

Hello, Our tour guide Rina was awesome! Rina was super sweet and very knowledgeable. We loved the flip chart drawings of our route throughout the tour. We learned to count from 1-10 in Japanese and helpful Japanese phrases. We highly recommend!

- Traveling to various places is convenient because it uses a small bus. Can park closer to tourist attractions - Have freedom to travel on your own - Time spent for Arashiyama is too little, unable to visit many spots, but for Hanamikoji, Yasaka Shrine and Nara, the time is appropriate - Part time guides should accumulate more experience. But it's usable.
