Come to Heian Shrine on Christmas Eve to enjoy the lanterns and pray for blessings. You can also rent a lantern for 500 yen. It is a great experience and worth the trip.

My son and I enjoyed the event. Heian Shrine was beautifully illuminated. It gave a nostalgic ambience, and made the architecture and details of temples and gardens stand out. Would book events like this all the time.

You can use it without exchanging tickets, which is convenient and simple. The exhibition at the Light God Garden is very beautiful. The Japanese garden is paired with beautiful light sculptures. It is highly recommended to experience it~
