great experience. definitely worth the money. the massage, foot scrub, body scrub, facial and bath was really relaxing. the open concept to the pond and greenery by the tub was really amazing.

The receptionist was very friendly and enthusiastic. He also took us around the entire park. The scenery was beautiful and the experience of the massage part was also very good. The strength at the beginning was a bit gentle. You can ask them to strengthen it. Overall, it is a recommended itinerary.

When you get there, you will be directed to go downwards and then down a corridor and upstairs. They will give you a welcome drink, have you fill up a form - health/skin condition and determine what kind of element maybe(?) and hence the type of oil they will use. Foot bath, massage was good. The only thing is I wrote on my form areas I would like them to focus on is head and neck. But my head pretty much got 0 attention, which was sad cause I love head massage the most :O

As a result, it was the best. It was my first time to have a Balinese massage, but after that I had a massage at a popular massage shop in Ubud and a 4-star hotel in Seminyak. I felt that the massage itself was not much different. In the end, it was all about the personality. The receptionist was friendly and easygoing, and even though I couldn't speak much English, she tried to communicate with me using simple words and gestures, which made me feel very relaxed. The massage was also serious and careful. It became one of my good memories of Bali. I will definitely come back if I go to Ubud. The room is simple and clean, so I would not recommend it to those who prioritize a Balinese feel. Also, it is a little far from the center. I took a motorbike taxi and got there while enjoying the feeling of touring, so it wasn't a problem, but I would not recommend it to those who want to keep their expenses down. I would not recommend it to those who prefer male therapists. (I have not confirmed whether there are male therapists.) Tea was served, but I would not recommend it to those who cannot accept sweet things as a different culture. . . That is not to say that the other two places are bad. Both are well done. But I would book this one.

The location is remote, about 4km from the main urban area of Ubud, and the drive takes about 20 minutes. If you order on the official website, you can get free transfer. It focuses on skin care, and the massage is average (my muscles may be stiff😅), and deeper massage skills are needed.

If possible, make a reservation and confirm the time through WhatsApp in advance. I was lucky enough to get it during an empty time, but it didn't seem like there were many massage rooms or masseuses. There were two of us in an open room, but I don't think it took an entire hour. It's in Sankara Resort, not Sankara Suites.
