The tour bus with guides (Japanese and English) made for an awesome visit to Shirakawa-go and Ainokura! It was a comfortable and relaxing ride with nice info and prep for what to check out in each destination, the lunch was delicious and traditional, and there was plenty to view along the drive or have a snooze instead. Would highly recommend as an easy way to explore the area and see some of the region's history 👌 👍

The best way to see Kanazawa! We walked a ton but hit most of the highlights of the city, including the geisha and samurai districts, Kanazawa Castle, the market, and the 21st Century Museum. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and able to answer almost all of our (very many) questions! Totally worth doing.

Rimiko-san felt more like a friend than a tour guide. A real local (and restaurant owner herself) she knows many of the stall holders in Omicho Market. It was great to have the contact with her before the trip to plan. After eating and drinking our way around the market, we bought sweets for a picnic in the castle grounds before heading to a local restaurant for an amazing omakase lunch. I loved the experience and would thoroughly recommend this to anyone coming to Kanazawa.

this was a great way to see shirakawago and takayama from Kanazawa. a long day, but gets you everything you want. I might suggest a visit to the higashi chaya district of Kanazawa instead of takayama as you get the same old town wooden village style without the travel. shirakawago is definitely worth the travel. an amazing village of traditional gassho houses. the tour allowed for plenty of time at the village. in takayama we started at a festival float museum to see the amazing tall wooden structures that are bought into the streets twice a year, then walked the streets of old town. the sannomachi street is busy with tourists, but a sight to see!

Mr Kuroda (our guide) is very humorous and nice. He gave clear instructions and explanations of things needed to done and to be shared. The lunch was sumptuous and filling. I will recommend this trip to others for sure!
