Things to do in Kampong Phluk Floating Village

When I went there in September, it happened to be the rainy season in Cambodia. Unfortunately, I didn't see the sunset over the Mekong River, but I also enjoyed a wonderful time and food, and the Mekong River in the rain has a different kind of beauty.

I had an amazing time on this well-crafted tour and this tour company had such a kind team from the tour manager to the driver upto to the tour guide . Though I was the only person on the tour since it was the low tourist season, they still arranged the tour for me perfectly and took great care of me during the trip. My tour guide Mr.Sean was a spectacular tour guide who was very knowledgeable, kind and welcoming. He was also a really good photographer. Even the driver took us around all the places safely and comfortably. I was so happy. I only have positive feedback haha. The picnic at the Kulen mountain is a brilliant idea and I enjoyed it! I would like 1000% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Siem Reap!

We really had a great time. This is something that shouldn’t be missed to those visiting Cambodia. We learnt a lot about the lives of some Cambodians who live on water and depend on it for their living. We were also brought to the local market. The most interesting thing about the market and the floating village is that the tradespersons are mostly women. And lastly, the most important thing about this tour is our tour guide, Mr Meng. He did a very fantastic job in ensuring that the tour went smoothly. He was a very friendly and lively guy and really loved his job. He didn’t mind sharing with us about the lives of Cambodians and what they had gone through. He was also very helpful and polite and kept apologising for something that happened beyond his control. Overall, this tour is something that shouldn’t be missed of you’re visiting Cambodia.

Our guide King Meng was so cool, I had a great time with him. We became his family, his English is perfect, I recommend this tour.

The floating market trip was nice. Captain Jack was our tour guide. He was funny and whole trip was enjoyable

The tour guide keng is very enthusiastic and loves his job! This makes the trip even more fun! This is a place well worth coming, you will have a lot of feelings and add a little more depth to your life!

The tour guide Meng is a very enthusiastic guide. He took us to the local market to experience the life of the locals and introduced us to many local features. After that, we took a boat to see the floating village. During the dry season, the children were running on the land. I hope I can have a chance to come again in the rainy season. There is also a school in the village, and the children greeted us happily. The sunset trip was also very happy. I was in a daze on the boat and watched the sunset over Tonle Sap Lake. Time passed slowly, which was a bit comfortable.
