Things to do in Uji

This tour package is worthy to avail. Make sure to have a separate tour day for Arashiyama Bamboo Forest and Inari Shrine then another day for this one. Kyoto tour is complete.. Charles is a great tour guide, can speak Chinese and English; very accommodating too.

The whole trip is relax and nicely paced. Our tour guide explained well to us of the local custom, and recommended local souvenirs and dessert to us before every visiting spot.

we booked the day trip really last minute & managed to squeeze in a family of 4. our guide is a trilingual lady Cicy. this is our 2nd time in kyoto & this itinerary is perfect for us. The pace is great & we can just focus on sightseeing instead of spending time to find our way. Our guide is helpful & very professional.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Charles. This would’ve been a well paced tour if not for the unprecedented crowds encountered at every site which was out of anyone’s control. Charles’ dining suggestions (including tips to secure a table) for lunch and afternoon tea were great - the gyukatsu and ichigo cafe were outstanding joints. I would recommend this tour.

Not much surprise to expect with regard to the itinerary but overall a great experience provided by the guide, Hannia who was exemplary in her service despite the tight schedule!

Anson was great, he was punctual and gave lots of information at the different places of interest. He contacted me a day prior and added to a group for clear communication. Uji was definitely the highlight of the trip!

Charles is a very professional, competent and enthusiastic tour guide. The one-day companionship made us feel very happy and happy, and we are 100 satisfied and grateful.

bus ride was very comfortable, and the places we went to were beautiful. enjoyed this tour very much!
