Things to do in Toya Devasya

The hike is moderately challenging but the views were worth it. If you get hungry easily, I would recommend you to eat a little first before hiking because breakfast will only be served after you reach the top. Very thankful to our guide Arigano (i think?) for being so friendly and encouraging, helping us up the mountain by literally dragging us up. We took a lot of breaks in between and please go at your own pace. At the top, its really cold so better to bring a jacket and a new set of clothes and also wear long pants. The views were breathtaking and unforgettable! The coffee plantation was interesting and we got to taste the different coffee and tea produced locally. You can buy souvenirs there as well. The massage was interesting and ok.

Overall great and memorable experience of the Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking and Tegallalang Rice Terraces & Waterfall tour. Our driver, Edi was on-time and professional in driving us back and forth, as well as accompanying us for the Tegallalang, waterfall and coffee plantation tour. Our Mt Batur trekking guide, Merta, was experienced and is very attentive to our well-being, regularly checking if we are okay and ensuring that we can have the best trekking experience and make it back safe and sound. Overall, I would highly recommend their services

WALI, who guided me during the sunrise, was very kind, drove steadily, and was very good at taking photos. He suggested many poses for me when I was taking photos, and I was able to take many photos that look good on Instagram. My friends also praised me for the great photos I took this time.

This was truly the most unforgettable experience in Bali! Even though we had to wake up before 3 a.m., it was absolutely worth it. Our driver, Tarisa, was amazing—she contacted us a day in advance to confirm the pick-up time and location at our hotel, and even arrived earlier than scheduled. She speaks fluent English and went above and beyond to show us the very best of Bali. As for our Jeep driver, Robert, he was incredibly skilled at navigating the challenging roads. Not only that, but he’s also a fantastic photographer who helped us capture countless wonderful moments on Mount Batur. We absolutely loved this trip and highly recommend it to everyone—don’t miss out! 🌟

We had a great tour. Our driver Ada was punctual and so friendly telling us about the local area. Our photographer Ngurah went above and beyond and took some amazing pictures of us and captured great memories. I would recommend checking the weather forecast in advance, we got a perfect sunrise!
