Things to do in Jozankei Onsen

Jozankei is amazingly beautiful, less tourist and transport is convenient with the bus and famous spots are within walking distance. You can find a convenient location to get on the bus (I got on the bus at Susukino Station and got off at Susukino on the return trip). The local bus accepted the physical ticket but it was too long with many stops. I recommend to try getting on the Kappa Liner even if you have forgotten to book in advance. The driver on the way back was nice that he let us ride on the way back to Sapporo. As for the outdoor hot spring, the scenery was very picturesque that made me want to go back in winter so that will elevate the whole onsen experience. There was a curry restaurant where we have had our lunch, the spiciness level is non existent. I thought that since this was not Japanese curry, then the chicken marsala we ordered would be very spicy but it was not.
