What do I need to bring when picking up my rental car?
You'll need the following items to pick up your car:
- A driver's licence that you've held for at least 1-2 years (depending on the operator's policy). Any additional drivers will also have to present their driver's licences.
- A credit card with sufficient funds issued to the main driver. The deposit for your rental car will be charged / pre-authorised to this card.
- Valid photo ID (passport, national ID, driver's licence etc.) must be presented to the car rental operator. Please refer to the Terms & Conditions on your booking voucher to see what types of photo ID are accepted.
- A printed version of your booking voucher. You can find more detailed instructions here.
If your driver's licence is not written in English, please bring an international driving permit along with your original licence. Refer to the Terms & Conditions on your booking voucher for more information and any additional requirements.
Additional items and drivers: You can arrange for additional drivers or extra items (booster seats, Bluetooth functionality, etc.) when picking up your car. Surcharges for these add-ons will be payable directly to the operator. Please make sure your credit card has enough balance to pay for your additional items, along with the deposit.
