the bus is on time, although the parking lot at the meet up was a bit far from the meet up point. traffic on the way home is a sure thing so i suggest an hour early when meeting up, 7am instead of 8am.

My tour of Shirakawa-go and 2 other place was a truly memorable experience, thanks to the punctuality and professionalism of our guide. The departure was perfectly on time, setting the stage for a smooth and well-organized journey. Fluent in English, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese, our guide ensured everyone felt included and well-informed, seamlessly bridging language barriers. With a deep knowledge of the area’s fascinating history and culture, they brought the picturesque village to life in an engaging and insightful way. Their enthusiasm and warmth made the experience even more special, leaving me with lasting memories of this stunning, historic destination.

Visited Shirakawago & Hida Takayama during non-peak season (a weekday in Jun 2024) was a splendid experience. Both places were not overcrowded, though some shops were closed. Highly recommend Menya Shirakawa (serving Takayama-style ramen with pork bone broth & fish flakes). Special thanks to energetic and caring tour guides (Tsutsumi -san and Yukie-san) who made the road trip very enjoyable. They enthusiastically introduced point of interests in Japan (beyond Shirakawago & Hida Takayama). Featuring a photo of Mount Haku (covered in snow) taken at resting stop.

It was a great experience. Shirakawago is a must see plus you also get to visit Takayama. To be honest, there is not enough time to truly explore both stops. But if you're only in Japan for a few days, then going on this tour will do to at least to get a glimpse of Takayama and Shirakawago. What also made me choose this tour is because it stops at the Shirakawago viewpoint. Amy, our tour guide, was amazing. She gave us tips to maximize the short time we had on each stop. Many thanks to Amy and our driver also.

This is the happiest Klook group I have ever joined! Thanks to tour guide Moon and driver Master Ding for their care and arrangements. Our group members are coming to the Philippines and Singapore. Thank you for taking care of us. We spent a wonderful two days with you! This time I took a small and medium-sized car, which was relatively comfortable. Moon also specially arranged for us to check in to see the snow. The southerners said they were really happy! We also went to eat roast pork with our group mates and tour guide, it was cheap and delicious. I don’t think Kenrokuen Garden is interesting because it rained that day and the cherry blossoms were not in bloom in mid-March, which was a pity. The hotel I stayed in this time was nice, and the shampoo products were very moisturizing and suitable.

This tour allowed us to explore the less accessible Ainokura village in Gokayama which is less touristy than the popular Shirakawa-go area. The duration allocated for both villages are appropriate. We are also very lucky to get a guide who is well versed in English.

The tour was great for a small group. We are able to go all the places in this itinerary. Will recommend this activity.
