Nara Park is an amazing place you can't miss! Just a short trip from Osaka or Kyoto, this park is home to thousands of friendly Shika deer that roam freely. You can feed them deer crackers called shika senbei and even watch them bow for treats. This makes for some amazing photos and memories. But there's more to the park than these wild animals! You can explore ancient temple grounds, like Todaiji Temple, which houses the Great Buddha, and Kasuga Taisha Shrine. There are also food stalls and even Michelin-starred restaurants nearby with tasty local food. Nara Park is easy to reach by the JR Nara Station or Kintetsu Nara Station, making it perfect for a day trip. With its natural beauty, rich history, and playful deer, Nara Park is a must-visit place on your trip to Japan.

Christine our tour guide was very good and brought us through the itinerary in time. Nara Park was very nice with the deers. The Tori gates Shrine however was packed full with visitors because of the long weekend National holiday. Arashiyama was a bit rushed as we had to catch lunch and visit the Bamboo Forest as well as the Kimono Forest which were some walking distance away. There was simply not enough time to even take the train was not included in the tour. The other small issue was the van was packed full of people and there shouldn’t be 4 persons sitting at the last row of the back. It was just too tight and uncomfortable.

I recently had the pleasure of joining a Kyoto and Nara tour, and it was an unforgettable experience! The tour was well-organized, with a perfect balance between exploring historical sites and enjoying nature. The transportation was comfortable, the pace of the tour was just right, and we even had time to enjoy some delicious local food. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore the heart of Japan’s history and natural beauty.

The guide who spoke three languages was so cool 👍 I signed up for a tour that goes to both Kyoto and Nara, but it was nice to be able to go to both.

Convenient, several scenic spots are must-dos in the itinerary, and there are special car transfers and tour guides. You can also go by yourself. The difference is whether you need a car or a special car to pick up and drop off. The scenic spots are all very big, and having a car can save a lot of time on the journey. , but if you just want to wear a kimono at Kiyomizu Temple and visit Ninnanza, it is not recommended to participate in this event. We happened to have to go all the way, and it was very convenient to be able to finish it in one go, and the CP value was very high.

Well-organized trip! Me and my friends were really glad to have booked this day trip. Recommended for those who have limited time in Japan as it allows you to see the known touristy places in both Nara and Kyoto hassle-free. Special shoutout to our tour guide Steven for being very energetic throughout the day and sharing a lot of information about the places. We also commend him for being very helpful! Will definitely book again the next time! Thank you, Klook!
