Things to do in Mount Atago

the ticket claim process is simple and straightforward. just need to show the qr code at the ticket counter. the boat captain is nice, funny and engaging. he explains the history and scenery along the one and half hour boat ride. it was fun and exciting

This was amazing! Definitely recommend!! Our boat men were so funny & very experienced! This is a very calm boat ride with a little bit of splash and river rapids! This boat ends right oat the bamboo forest. Perfect morning spent in arashiyama!

Our tour guide Amy was amazing! The day was jam packed but she continuously sent us all pictures she’d made with instructions and maps to the WhatsApp group we were added to. She gave us plenty of tips on how to feed the deer at Nara to avoid being bitten! At our second stop, she encouraged us to rent kimonos which was a little stressful due to the time crunch but Amy came and helped the ladies get us all ready so we could make it back to the bus in time. She even provided really yummy japanese snacks for the whole bus to try after each stop which was super sweet and lovely of her. At our third stop, the bamboo forest, she’s made a map on which places we’re best to eat and shop at. she even took photos for all of us who had hired the kimonos which turned out fantastic. Overall a really lovely day and experience. I would definitely book again with Amy!!

Our guide Steven demonstrated exceptional organizational skills throughout the entire tour. The itinerary was well-planned and executed flawlessly. We were always informed of the schedule, meeting points, and transportation arrangements, which made the experience stress-free and enjoyable. the river ride was an amazing experience with the fresh breeze on your face and many sights to see. you will really enjoy coasting down the river with humorous team guiding you through the rapids.
