Hehuan Mountain tours

instructions were clear and driver arrived promptly. the view was magnificent (even better in real live than pictures) and we were given ample time to take pictures at each stop. there was also interesting information about the stars by the guide.

this was quite an enjoyable hike, managed to hike to 4 places in the 2 days. covered the Hehuan Main Peak, Dong Feng, Shimen Mountain, and little Qilai. even get to see the sunrise. my guide was Snowmen, who is very knowledgeable about the Mountains. we managed to see many floral in the Mountain including the shuijinglan and seven leaves one flower plant printed on the 1000 Taiwanese bill. the weather was perfect for hiking, the accommodation at the mingshu was fantastic, hot shower , TV, coffee, aircon and fan was provided and a short walk to 7-11. the 2 meals included was also very nice with about 8 courses to share in the group. I enjoy the pace as you cab get to rest any time.

Easy to book and excellent coordination about pickup from okbus. The drive is challenging, and the drivers expertise was evident and essential. Will book again for another memorable experience! Wear warm clothes and enjoy the scenery.

Good introductory tour suitable for beginner hikers. Three peaks covered in three days. Guide (little frog) was patient and would help pace the team. He also offered tips for beginners. Dinner provided everyday. Breakfast purchased using voucher on second day. Lunch is self prepared. Driver drove very well. Worth a try for those interested to explore the mountains of Taiwan without the hassle of planning.

Be prepared to wake up as early as 3am to first see the stars as the guide will explain about the stars and prepare the journey uphill for the sunrise. Then it will be a long journey to a few sites to visit and take photographs. Enjoy and take in the beautiful scenery of one of Taiwan's mountains.

Good introductory hiking tour for beginners. Three peaks covered in two days. Guide was patient, hiking group (couples and solo hikers) sporting and drivers skilful in navigating tough mountain routes. Dinner is six dishes or more shared with the group. Accomodation is old but well equipped. Guide allowed us a bonus of watching the sunrise and we caught it!

Got a WhatsApp msg from the driver a day beforeconfirming the tour. Pick up was set at 3 AM the next day but didn’t actually get picked up until 1.5 hrs later than was told. This was a join in tour with the whole bus full of tourists. It was great to see Hehuanshan in the morning. Great views.

It was my first time to challenge Baiyue. The rhododendrons in the mountains were in full bloom. The weather was clear and the mountain scenery was unmatched. The tour leader Lesley was very flexible in planning the itinerary and even made an extra effort to leave early to watch the sunrise and return to Taipei. Highly recommended!
