The Pinnacles Desert tours

I received a detailed email the day before the trip with all the necessary information, which made me feel prepared and at ease. The bus arrived punctually to pick us up, which set a positive tone for the day. After gathering the rest of the group, our first stop was a bakery where we could buy food and use the restroom. Then, our next stop was a scenic lookout point where we had 10-15 minutes to enjoy the views before heading to the sand dunes for an exhilarating sandboarding session. The boards were provided, and our guide was fantastic, assisting each of us with going down the sand slope. This was an exciting highlight and lasted about 30-45 minutes. Following the sandboarding, we visited another lookout before making our way to the Pinnacles Discovery Centre. This stop included a gift shop and restroom facilities, ensuring everyone had what they needed. The driver made sure we had plenty of opportunities to use the restrooms throughout the day, which was very considerate. Exploring the Pinnacles was a unique experience. We had 45 minutes to free roam and take pictures of the stunning desert. This was the perfect amount of time to appreciate the natural beauty of the area. Dinner was a lovely experience with a variety of starters including cheese & crackers, wine, coffee, tea, hot soup, and for the main course, there were four different types of salads and freshly grilled hotdogs with sausage buns prepared on the spot by our guide. It was a delicious and hearty meal after a day of adventure. After dinner, we waited for the stars and the Milky Way to show up. The tour provided telescopes, binoculars, and camera stands, which was fantastic for stargazing and photography. The guide also gave us tips on how to take great photos with both iPhones and Androids, which was incredibly helpful. Once everyone had their fill of stargazing and photo opportunities, we packed up and headed back to our accommodation. Overall, this tour was a fantastic experience. It was well-organized, and each activity was thoughtfully planned and executed. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and ensured everyone had a great time. this tour is so good! first time in perth & i recommend it. our tour/driver chris was such an awesome & sweetest guy i have met since i reach perth! just that the park was a little disappointing as we did not see any kangaroo and only two koalas :-( and on our way to the pinnacle, we were swamp by flies and bees , maybe cause the weather was warm so do be prep for it! but overall the stargazing was awesome!!

Our family was very lucky today. We met a very nice tour guide. It happened to not rain at every scenic spot. We saw two koalas and many kangaroos in Nangbang national park. It was a great sunny day at the Pinnacle dessert for an hour. I had plenty of time to take photos. I had fish & chip for lunch, and one portion was also upgraded to lobster & chip. However, fish & chip was still more delicious. In Swan Valley, it was a simple trip to get off the car and try the food on your own. The tour guide introduced the different landscapes and changes along the way, which was great. After getting off the bus at the end of the trip, my child reluctantly followed the tour guide and waved goodbye.

We had so much fun on this experience! Other than the beautiful sights of the sand dunes and the Pianacles, what impressed us the most was our guide Don. He was effervescent and loaded with lots of jokes. He kept us entertained throughout while ensuring that we were very well taken care of. It can get very chilly and windy in the desert at night though (we just went in Sep, late winter/early spring), so do prepare for additional clothes, layers, gloves etc to keep warm.

overall the tour operator Pinnacles was great, professional and everything was organised perfectly. it will be a full day trip, but was fun-filled and memorable. both of the tour guides shared (personal) stories, as well as information abt the places. one tour guide even had prizes for best sand ski-er (furthest), and well behaved award-to my younger daughter (a bottle of vegemite) :)

This trip was very unforgettable. 89 is a very caring and humourous tour guide. He tought me how to pose for photos. There were many funny and happy things on the way. I felt accompanied ;) It was my one of most happiness experience in my life. Thank u

We covered many sights in countryside Western Australia in this tour. Raymond was in prompt contact with us before and throughout the trip and made sure that everyone was comfortable and had ample time for meals. The rest of our tour group were Hong Kongers (we are Singaporeans) and naturally Raymond did much of the explanations in Cantonese with occasional translations into Mandarin. Our guide did the driving and coordination all by himself for the 3 days so kudos to him! The explanations were not too detailed, it’s more like a “bring you there and experience” kind of tour. We fully appreciated that Raymond helped us take good photos at the Pink Lake and when stargazing at the Pinnacles. (: The tour was value-for-money and took the stress out of self-driving. Would recommend!
