This itinerary is different from other one-day itineraries. It is arranged by the Japan Kumamoto Tourism Bureau. There is no tour guide or tour bus. You have to drive to all designated places by yourself. We actually followed the time schedule of the itinerary. Personally, I think the time spent at each scenic spot was well arranged. It is a pity that the crater can only be viewed for half an hour. Some people think it is a pity, but it was actually very cold that day. Personally, I think it takes half an hour to view the crater. In fact, it’s almost the same! Next, we went to Sosenri to have lunch and enjoy the scenery. The lunch was delicious. My family members who were traveling with us liked it very much. The scenery of Sosenri was beautiful and you could even ride a horse. It is recommended that you go to the observation deck and walk on the grassland. It will take about three hours at Aso Station in the afternoon. We chose to go to Aso Shrine. We can take JR or bus for a while. The shrine is also very spectacular. After seeing it, we can also go around the nearby shopping streets. The itinerary is quite rich! There was a traffic jam on the return trip, so I arrived at Hakata Station one hour later than expected, but there was nothing I could do about it, so I won't give a negative review. As long as each ride is mentioned in the itinerary, you can show it to the driver for confirmation, which is very convenient!

Helen was an excellent guide, taking us to beautiful places on the itinerary while providing great commentary and keeping us to time. This tour covers a lot of ground over the day and after a lot of walking and taking ourselves to sights it was really nice to get directly from place to place and have the information for each site provided with care and humour!

The most impressive thing on the trip was Aso Volcano. When I got off the car and walked up to the crater, I was greeted by the smell of sulfur, which is similar to that of Yangmingshan Hot Spring. According to the introduction, it is the poisonous gas "sulfur disate", so it is not suitable for hiking. It takes too long to stay there, but it’s still worth it to see Mount Aso, the world’s largest lava volcano. There are round bunkers near the crater, which are used for emergency evacuation when the volcano suddenly moves. In addition, Kumamoto’s agriculture is developed, Aso milk is abundant, and there are many cheese products, such as cheesecake and cheese. I bought one on the way today. Let’s try the small bottle of milk pudding🍮. People who like soft and tender desserts will love it. In addition, it is very common to eat horse meat here, so I just bought a small skewer of horse meat at "Spur Skewers" to try. The local delicacy tastes as chewy as mutton, but does not have a strange smell similar to mutton. At the Sosenri Rest Stop near Aso Volcano, they also sell vacuum-packed yellow corn. The corn here is very famous. I bought one to try and taste it. Unexpectedly, it was the sweetest corn I have ever tasted🌽!

Although we had booked a Chinese-language tour, she went above and beyond to provide us with all the information we needed in English. She was incredibly attentive and caring, always making sure we were comfortable and understood everything. Her kindness and dedication made the experience even more enjoyable. The lunch was another highlight of the day. We enjoyed a delicious buffet, which was perhaps the best I’ve ever had on any tour. The variety and quality of the food were exceptional, offering a wonderful taste of local flavors. Overall, this tour was a perfect blend of breathtaking sights, excellent organization, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore Kumamoto with a guide who truly cares about her guests!

Great day trip with wonderful driver (Sakai-san), tour guide (Ōtsuka-san) and interpreter (Ushijima-san). Locations were beautiful and amazing + the journey to each location was cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend to those wanna explore Kumamoto and Miyazaki prefecture 👍🏻

Customer service contacted me the night I placed the order, and I arrived on time on the day of the trip. There were 8 of us in the group and we took a 10-passenger car, which was very comfortable. The driver was familiar with the scenic spots and traffic routes. We didn’t think we could go up to the volcano at first. After understanding the situation, the driver opened a road and we could drive up the mountain. We finally saw Mount Aso! It’s no problem even adding attractions temporarily, it’s fun and relaxing!

Nathan was an excellent driver for our family trip to see the One Piece statues at Kumamoto. I provided the itinerary and they commented that it's a tight schedule for the 10 hr. trip but Nathan was early to pick us up at Grand Base Hotel and brought us back to Fukuoka with a few minutes to spare. He was also always there to help us take a family picture at the statues. Bravo! I think this trip was worth it because the location was spread all over Kumamoto. We just had to reimburse the toll fees.
