The experience was very good. The staff did a great job explaining, and the whales were very active. They came really close to our boat in groups, and we had the chance to watch them from a short distance. The waves were quite choppy today, and for those who had experienced seasick before, I highly recommend taking the pills first.

The ferry ride from Perth is longer, but one hour of that is spent cruising the Swan River slowly, and the crew will explain various things to you. After leaving Fremantle, we headed out to sea, and the morning trip was so rough that I felt like I was going to get seasick. On the way back, there was less swell, so it wasn't so rough, so I was lucky. You can buy snacks and drinks on the ferry. The bicycle has seven gears, but if you stretch your legs a little and go sightseeing, your legs will get sore. If you don't exercise regularly, please be careful. It's not necessary if you're only interested in seeing the quokkas.

seats were not what was shown here but still comfy. dripping water at our seat and we couldnt really hear the guide(guide commentary was also the same there and back, would be better to have taken a different route back). drinks menu wasnt updated as well so the selection of complimentary drinks was different from what was originally listed. separately, the buffet was only available for a short period of time and we weren't able to go back for seconds. that being said, crew was polite and kind throughout and we appreciate the effort!

everything was smooth, ensure to be there 30 mins prior to the ferry departure time. I left at the earlier ferry timing (original timing was 4.30pm) but they kindly allowed us to do so. be sure to head to the counter to exchange for physical ferry tickets before going to the ferry itself.
