Things to do in Alishan

Our Alishan day tour was a pleasant day for us. Our driver and tour guide Cook was energetic and very knowledgeable. We really enjoy the tour. He is very experienced and very considerate and paid attention to details. He also took a lot of pictures at critical locations for us. All in all, this is an excellent tour. I highly recommend it.

We feel very lucky to have experienced Alishan in good weather, a must visit in Taiwan. We rode the cypress carriage train which had a lovely fragrance. Richard was the full package driver/guide who got us there safely and told us all the stories and folk tales of Alishan.

The driver+guide, 阿吉哥, drove very well, which made the long drive on often winding roads up to Alishan comfortable. He shared tidbits about the region and kept the spirits up even though it was rainy and therefore not the best weather to be out in the mountains. We’re also thankful for the pictures taken of our group. Alishan is a beautiful place and I’d love to go back.

Our guide Justin was amazing. Excellent driver , very professional knowledgeable guide and one of the most talented photographers. He carries everyone to get he's attention and made amazing pictures of everybody. We saw beautiful places , all trip was very easy going in a nice atmosphere. Justine is a very funny and good tour guide. He is a man of many talents, from being a tour guide, bringing us to the tea house, taking many many beautiful photos just like a professional. He is friendly and he is the best guide I have ever engaged in Taichung. He provides detailed information of Alishan, introduction of a list of good food in Taichung and speaks really fluent English. 陈吉宏is our guide for today’s trip and it was a blast! he is probably the most humorous guide in the whole convoy of different tour groups there as he explained professionally information on the tour sites. If you are booking this tour, see if u can ask to have him as your driver/guide. It was drizzling in 阿里山, and he brought us to a nice tea plantation for a quick visit as we had some extra time. Highly recommended!
