Banghwasuryujeong Pavilion tours

Traffic to Jangtaesan was heavy as this is the peak season plus weekend. The journey there and back were very long. Scenery was okay as the autumn season is delayed this year. The evening sunset Hwaseong scenery was great. K did his best on the road. He is a helpful and accomodating guide.

This was our favorite tour of the three we took this trip. Crystal, the tourguide, was awesome! She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and punctual. The driver too, he drove very smoothly and safely. We highly recommend taking this tour 🌟

Our pick-up and drop-off points were at our hotel, which was a huge plus point for selecting this tour. Cory, who was our guide and driver, picked us up punctually in a huge MPV which seated my group of 7 comfortably. The heavy snowfall during our day tour didn't dampen our spirits. In fact, it made the sights more beautiful. At Hwaseong, we took many stunning photos of the majestic fortress with the white backdrop. The Suwon starfield library wasn't as massive but it waa a sight to behold. Have never taken so many photos of a library before. Due to the snow, the Gwangmeyong Cave was closed but Cory replaced the attraction with a visit (free upgrade) to Yong-in Folk Village. Beautiful pictures of the traditional houses and trees decorated with light were taken. Cory has superb driving skills; the roads were slippery with layer of ice on the surface but he skillfully and safely navigated the car without incident although we spent a fair bit of time on the road due to reduced speeds and heavy traffic. Visiting Hwaseong fortress in summer is still on my bucket list and I will definitely join Cory's tour when I am back in S. Korea.

This was a great tour; the best way to visit Suwon and see some of its highlights with a guide. Cory was our patient guide and driver for the day. He did an excellent job transporting us about safely; providing information about each stop; answering questions; and keeping us moving along together at a good pace. This was a small group tour of 7 people - a definite positive for me. My favourite places were Suwon Hwaseong Fortress and Nammun Market. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to visit Suwon to see its charm and learn of its historical significance.

This trip is one for the books! There are not much people in the places visited but the history and culture surorounding every single area was amazing! our guide Cory made sure to explain things to us and gave us freedom to manage our time with his guidance. lunch we had near the Hwaseong Palace was superb. Having a private tour is a plus because you get to budget your own time at your own convenience. Suwon was really beautiful!

Thank you for our tour guide Brian. Brian brings us to Suwon which is a interesting and beautiful place. I agree to join the tour rather than take the public transport. Since there are far away from Seoul, and private van is more comfortable. Also, I suggest to bring a nice hat and take lots of good pictures with sunshine.

Tour guide Thomas was excellent in understanding the history around yesterday focused stops. He was extremely patient and helpful through out the trip. indeed one of thr best trips so far. thanks Thomas!
