The full day schedule was well spent with our tour guide Richard. He is very knowledgeable and shared lot of islands histories as well as some of his childhood experiences too. In addition, he also showed some marine animals to us when the tide was low. It was indeed a very fruitful and enjoyable day indeed. The weather was perfect and sunny. It was a wonderful lunch experience to eat claypot chicken rice that was self cooking instantly. I highly recommend local Singaporeans to hop on this Southern Islands trip to see the rich heritage we have on these islands. I will give a high rating of 8.5 over 10 for this trip.
The guide (Jeff) is awesome and very knowledgeable! He shared a lot on interesting historical facts (can't find in textbooks), took nice photos for me and ensured my safety throughout the tour. The route is easy to cycle and bike is in superb condition. Great tour for Singaporeans and tourists, highly recommended!
The tour was educational even for a Muslim who has been living in Singapore their whole life. For a non-Muslim like myself, it was definitely an eye-opening experience. The guides and organisers were friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The activities were very fun and interesting! Perhaps only the mediocre nasi lemak lunch was a tad disappointing, especially for a foodie Singaporean like myself 😛 All in all, thoroughly enjoyed myself and learned a lot today! Booked this for my birthday celebration and it was definitely the highlight of the day. Guides were friendly and shared with us interesting bits of Singapore as we toured. There were also many photo opportunities as they brought us to nice photo spots. Both my husband and I certainly enjoyed our rides. This is an activity that should not be missed.
Thanks to Jeff for his excellent service as the tour guide of this fantastic bike tour. With Jeff around, we have fully enjoyed the whole trip. While we riding the bicycle going places in Geylang serai, Joo chiat and Katong, not only we have a history and cultural tour from Jeff, we also have few scrumptious treat (I have lost count) when he lead us to find the hidden gems of eating places.
If you looking for some unique experience in Singapore, this bike tour is surely one of the must-do activities. Regardless whether you are local or foreign tourist, you will enjoy the tour.
Went with a group of friends during this trying time because of Covid 19 where the tour guides and eateries had to be very vigilant in ensuring safe distancing of participants. anyway they were polite and cheerful in engaging the participants. Good food was served and we truly enjoyed the food and hearing interesting history of Singapore Rivef and food outlets. Truly a wonderful experience for all.
