Bonjour! Home to the famous and beautiful Eiffel Tower, it’s no doubt that Paris is most people’s dream destination. Paris is officially known as the ‘City of Lights’ because of its leading role during the Age of Enlightenment and also because it was one of the first large European cities to use gas street lighting on its boulevards and monuments. But to most, Paris is simply the ‘City of Love’ because of the romantic vibe and atmosphere that the city has.
Aside from the Eiffel Tower, Paris is also known for a couple of other things like outdoor cafés, chic fashion, Notre Dame, good wine, different types of baguettes, and of course, galleries and museums. There are so many things to explore and do in Paris but to get some weight off your shoulders, we’ve curated a list that you can use as your guide as you go ‘round the city with your family!
What to do in Paris:
1. Disneyland Paris
2. Parc Astérix

1. Disneyland Paris
There are so many Disneylands around the world and visiting any of them always feels so magical. Truly, for both kids and kids at heart, Disneyland is the ‘Happiest Place on Earth’ because here, we see how our favorite animated movies and characters come to life! You can’t just leave Paris without taking a stop at Disneyland and its two parks: Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. They’re the perfect places for some family fun and activities!
Disneyland Park is where fairytales come to life as you take on some themed rides like Big Thunder Mountain, Disneyland Railroad, Les Voyages de Pinocchio, and more. You can also watch parades and shows with your favorite Disney characters like The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands show, Disney Illuminations, and Disney Stars on Parade. At the center of the park is Sleeping Beauty’s castle so remember to take as many photos as you can.
The second theme park in Disneyland Paris is the Walt Disney Studios Park where fantastic shows and movies both from Disney and Pixar will no longer just be on your screens but along this park’s very streets! Step into the Worlds of Pixar and feel like you’re part of iconic movies like Ratatouille, Finding Nemo, Toy Story, Cars, and more. If you feel like you want a bit more action, head on over to Avengers Campus where you’ll get a chance to team up with Marvel superheroes to deal with the mightiest missions.
