For some people, hearing ‘Disney’ means ‘for kids’.
Now, we’re trying not to take this kind of thinking personally, but people who think that Disney’s just for kids are people who have never been to Disney and who are, ironically, in most need of a trip to experience the delights that only Disney can deliver.
Yes, kids love Disney, but y’know what? Adults dig Disney too! And not just because their kids do (though that’s always a bonus!), but because Disney is awesome. Like, objectively and factually and totally scientifically awesome.
Plus, adults-only trips to Disney are totally a ‘thing’ now, showing that there’s no age restriction when it comes to enjoying the happiest place on earth! But how do adults get the most out of a place that was originally designed for kids?
Now that’s a great question, and we just happen to have the perfect answer to it…
Shop until YOU want to stop Go shopping along Main Street with no adults to tell you ‘no’...because you’re the adult!!! (Note - this is actually the best part of being an adult, at WDW and anywhere else too, for that matter!)
Do Disney on YOUR schedule Wake up early to beat the queues, or have a lie-in and take the leisurely route and stay out late - remember, on this trip, you only have to think about you!
Stay out after hours Adulting can be hard. We get it. And that means you’re totally entitled to take time to relax, and Disney After Hours is the perfect chance! These After Hours events give (a limited number of) guests the chance to enjoy unforgettable experiences on select nights There’s no limit to the fun as you journey into a bioluminescent rainforest and watch the park come alive with all colours of lights before taking short stops at Avatar Flight of Passage, Mickey & Minnie Greeting at Adventurers Outpost and the Na’vi River Journey.
Splash out on a Spa After a day of dedicated Disneying, you’re gonna be in need of a bit of R&R! Luckily, the clever folks over at WDW HQ thought the same thing and have got you covered! From the Mandara (an Asian themed spa with a full line-up of massage and beauty treatments) to Senses at Saratoga Springs (“a full-service spa and health club inspired by the 19th century wellness retreats of upstate New York”), there’s plenty to unwind with when it comes to WDW.
Eat, drink and be merry! After your rides and your relaxation, you’ll definitely want to spend some time enjoying the World Showcase at Epcot. On this once-in-a-lifetime experience, you’ll travel through 11 countries, and get the opportunity to sample cuisines from each location!
Swing the wrenches No trip to Florida is complete without a round of golf, so choose from the three championship golf courses located in WDW, which were actually included as part of the PGA Tour for 42 years up until 2012, so you know they’re good! Plus...Disney. So… ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
