1. USS Liberty Shipwreck Dive at Tulamben - Indonesia
After being hit and eventually sinking in Tulamben, Indonesia, the USS Liberty has become integrated into the waters surrounding this area.
Accompanied by PADI-certified divers, tourists can dive and see this shipwreck up close, as well as the colorful marine life that inhabits the ocean.
2. Wanghai Lane Shipwreck Dives - Taiwan
Wanghai Lane is located in Elephant Trunk Rock in New Taipei, and is a beautiful tourist location with lots of activities available to you.
You can enjoy snorkeling and seeing the shipwreck up close. It’s an easy dive for beginners, but do note that you’ll have to bring your own snorkeling gear.
Besides diving, you can also enjoy paddle boarding, to watch the view while sitting on top of the beautiful blue waters.

The shipwreck dive is around 32 meters under, making this dive doable even for beginner divers. Diving gear will be provided by the trained divers assisting you on your trip.
6. Rabaul - Papua New Guinea

Rabaul is a 2-hour flight from Papua New Guinea’s capital and is one of the best dive spots out there as it houses perhaps most of the shipwrecks in the country.
There are many shipwreck dives for you to explore like the Hakkai Maru or the Yanyuri Maru, among others. Besides the shipwrecks, there are also a lot of beautiful reefs to explore.

Pattaya itself is known as a famous dive spot in Thailand, making it very convenient for beginners as there’s a lot of established dive shops, facilities, and instructors.
8. Subic Bay - Philippines

Subic Bay is a natural deep harbor and has been a US Navy Base since World War II. As such, there are a lot of wrecks in its waters.
Some famous wrecks are the USS New York and the El Capitan, wreckages of US and Spanish ships. Besides these, there are also many coral reefs to explore, with beautiful sea life making it one of the best dive spots in Asia.
