Our guide, Andrews, born on St Andrews Day, was amazing. He was kind and accommodating. He did his best to plan around the poor weather and showed us the best of the Scottish Highlands.

We got Mia as our driver and tour guide. she was an amazing story teller and we love all her fun facts and stories about Edinburgh and Scotland! the tour itself was chill and had given us sufficient time to rest. the roads are a bit windy up and down the Highlands, so recommend for people with motion sickness to take your medication before the trip

We were told about the history on why the vaults were built below the south bridge. When you enter the vaults, it gets quite dark, there’s a few green safety lights around but that’s about it, it’s not as brightly lit as you see in the pictures. We’re also told right before entering the vaults that we can request to come out any time we want incase we feel uncomfortable. Inside the vaults you’ll get to see some untouched vaults and also experience how it feels like to be inside back in the day (it’s pitch black). You’ll also get to see a well maintained witchcraft temple, previously used by the Source Coven of the Blue Dragon and also the vault that they initially used but things happened which you’ll find out on the tour. In summary if you’re easily spooked or feel claustrophobic you may want to skip this tour

We chose a 16-passenger car. There were 12 people in the group and the seats were very spacious. Before going to St Andrews, we will stop at two small fishing villages, but due to wind and rain on the morning of departure, there were no people there. Fortunately, the weather cleared up when we arrived at St Andrews, and the Castle, Cathedral and Old Golf Course were all very easy to take photos. Lunch is at your own expense, and the tour guide will also recommend dining places. On the way back, we will pass Falkland Village, but there are no attractions.

Our driver tour guide, Sean was very professional but most importantly very humorous and full of energy throughout the day. The 16 seater coach was clean and comfortable. Trip was great to see a glimpse of the Scottish highlands in a day. The view was stunning, definitely worth it. Although no lunch was provided, ample time was given at each break stop for us to get food. Would definitely recommend this trip.

We learned about whisky in a fun way, starting with an intro from the friendly guide and watching videos and explanations. I don't usually drink whisky, but during the tasting, we were taught everything from the characteristics of the color to how to enjoy the aroma. Scotch whisky from different regions has its own characteristics, so it was nice to be able to enjoy a little at a time and find out what I like. The shop also had a wide variety of mini bottles that would be great for souvenirs or to try out!
