this card saves you money and time. It’s very convenient when you want to explore taiwan. I recommend getting this card.

I used this pass just to roam around the city without hopping off. I enjoyed the scenery and sightseeing. With the 4hours pass, I finished both Red Line and Blue Line. Red Line boast the downtown, tall skyscrapers and some historical sites while blue line are mostly greeneries. To locate bus stop easily, just look for the signs with Taipei Sightseeing Bus. the only con in this activity is that there are no stop buttons near your seats. If you are in the top deck, you need to tell the attendant that you will be going to alight in a specific stop or just move out from your seat before the bus stop.

Transfers were a smooth process but I suggest booking a separate tours for beitou and yehliu as I think more time is needed for these places. Also, wear comfy clothes and shoes as it involves a lot of walking.

It was a great trip. The tour guide, Snowman, was very informative and explained the stories of the mountains and tribes. In addition to viewing the magnificent sacred trees, we also learned about the efforts made by the tribe to maintain the giant forest. In summary, I prefer the giant tree trail in Zhenxibao. The spectacular giant tree forest, the natural and primitive mountain forest trail, and the temperature in early spring are very comfortable.
