It was a very comfortable and beautiful ride from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai. The white temple was probably one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen in Thailand. It looked like it came out of the movie FROZEN. The blue temple was just as beautiful. Both places had immaculate architecture. The tour guide spoke English, Thai, and Chinese, which was impressive as she was able to communicate easily with all guest on board the tour van. After the white temple, lunch was provided at a buffet restaurant right across the street. The food was delicious and it was all Thai food. On the way to and from Chang Rai, bathroom stops are made at places where you could get food, drink, and souvenirs. I would definitely come back again with my friends and have them experience this wonderful tour.

Tour started quite early, before 7am from Chiang Mai, but we had 1 stop in the middle of route - hot springs, it was very nice that we can try to put our feets into hot spring water. After short break we proceeded with tour, in total we spent about 3 hours in a bus, but views were amazing as we were going through mountains. Firatly we visited White temple, it was spectacular. After that we went to Baan Dam Museum and then to the Blue temple. Our guide Lynn was amazing, she accompanied us through all places, explaining related history, making photos, buying us local food, recommending good places for food and ice cream. Amazing tour!

Klook Pick up at 7:10 am at hotel lobby and arrived back at 8:00 pm. Tour guide : Mr Jackie was very knowledgeable and explained very well on the history of every place that we visited. He also has high philosophical thinking and conveyed every place’s philosophy accordingly. knowledge that only locals knew were told. Mr A drives perfectly. Tour : good. Tour begins with hot spring (there’s a hot spring which is also a rest stop). Can support locals by buying eggs to boil in the hot spring from the local women. Journey continues with the tour with between places there’s a 30-1hour journey. Every place, we will tour, average 40 minutes to 1 hour. Good one day tour to Chiang Rai! Definitely will recommend to friends.

We took the 1 day chiang rai tour. Start off with the hot spring (frankly nothing special, the area is not well maintained & super rundown, I suggest to skip). Then we reached white temple (everyone asked me to come!!) And the amount of visitors are massive.. so it is not easy to get a good angle of nice photos if that's your intention.. you will surely be disappointed.. however is felt is a superb place to have a look a the intrinsic character and the meticulous craft that was put into the making.. some parts looked a little scary but, is an experience. Then we went to singha park for lunch & the ambience is great, food is good and not expensive but the service is top notch. After lunch we went to long neck Karen and again, i believe it is a dying tribe as the world advance further. We get the chance to understand the culture, their way of life and how they make a living as a aboriginal. Again, another interesting chapter in one of my book of life. The last stop was to blue temple and this has some similarities with the white temple since it was the creation of the disciple of the white temple's artist. Is kind of painful to travel 3 hours from chiang mai (1 way) for this tour. If you have time, it would be good to perhaps stay a night and move to another area heading up further.

Pan was our guide during this trip. We were able to visit a lot of places such as White Temple (Wat Rong Khun), Blue Temple (Wat Rong Suea), Wat Huay Pla Kang or the Goddess of Mercy, Choui Fong Tea plantation where we had our lunch, Golden Triangle and its view point, Opium Museum, and Long Neck Thasut where we bought some souvenirs. It was a great experience seeing what Chiang Rai is.

The tour was amazing! Our guide Kenny was very lively and he led the entire group well! The transfers from chiang mai to the temples were smooth and we arrived to each locations smoothly. All the places we went to were beautiful and I would definitely recommend this tour to other people. The lunch buffet was also amazing, the food tastes amazing! Overall the entire trip was worth every penny as they also paid for our entrance fees (except the long neck karen as it was optional)
