Great experience to learn a bit more about the Korean brewing culture - our host was particularly engaging and witty, handling an audience with both Korean and English spekaing members. Had a load of fun and wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

The experience activity is divided into two parts. First, we will introduce the formation process of alcohol and the differences between Korean rice wine and soju, and then let us make our own makgeolli. The activity was very interesting, and the teacher was very considerate and explained in English and Korean. He knew we would take it with us on the plane and specially taught us how to prevent leaks 😂

I had such a great time that I was wondering what photos I should show to those who were hesitant about whether to choose this travel product or not. Although I was attracted by the attractive message about being able to live as a different version of myself, I left for Jeju with a trembling heart as to whether I would be able to spend 4 nights and 5 days safely because I am an introvert. To sum it up, I had a more special time than any other trip I've had so far. Will it be okay? I would like to tell you that you don't have to worry at all :) First of all, when I visited Jeju, it was raining almost every day. There was a well-planned time schedule, but due to weather conditions, it was not possible to proceed as is. but! There was also a program prepared to be held indoors in case it rained. First of all, I really like ‘Mureung Maternal House’, which served as a base camp. There was nothing I didn't like about the purpose of its creation, the people who work here, the farmers and local residents connected to this place, the space in a remodeled school, and even the food and beverages. For 5 days and 4 nights, in the morning, I worked on Geumhyang red berries (a very important task), planted hydrangeas (I felt proud imagining the flower path that would become beautiful later), worked on boxes of agricultural products from Mureung's maternal family house (I can't believe I was a box folding genius), pruned Geumhyang dead trees, and worked on additional cedars. , stamping boxes, etc., and in the afternoon, we enjoyed walking around the Mureung-ri neighborhood, trekking Mureung Gotjawal, watching the oil market, watching dolphins, trekking Songaksan Mountain, and making scones and karaage jam. It was exciting and fun without a break. We went to a lot of restaurants recommended by locals near Mureung-ri, and on the night of the 4th day, we all gathered together to grill black pork, make kimchi pancakes, and have a party. I am very grateful to everyone involved who worked very hard to help me adapt and enjoy the experience. Thank you again to the group who worked, ate, slept, and played together as one team for 4 nights and 5 days! Jjangjjangjjang >_< If there's anything else I gained from this trip, it's that I made real acquaintances on Jeju Island while living as a different me~^^ The two owners of Jeju Mureung Red Clay Field and everyone at Mureung Maternal House, the village head who greeted me when I was planting hydrangeas or going for a walk, I Village residents, including the village head (the older brother of the owner of Mureung Oegatjib^^), kind restaurant owners, and even the people from the next village who took us there when we couldn't return to the accommodation due to lack of traffic! I think it will all remain as happy memories. If I get the chance, I would like to participate in other programs through Duerker. Everyone, I really recommend it!^^

There is a lot of knowledge and the boss explains it very carefully. You can make wine while tasting wine, and also have the experience of distilled wine. Finally, we tried pancakes and fish soup. It is worth participating in the experience. I will come again next time I come to Jeju Island.

We loved the experience! Jo was a great and funny teacher. He peppered the lecture with lots of witty remarks and made all of us laugh. He was also really knowledgeable and could answer all our questions. Beside myself and my friend, there were 2 other groups in the workshop so a total of 6 pax. Jo prepared a great dinner (kimchi pancake and oden soup) that was perfect for the weather. The alcohol tasting was great as well, it was the best and sweetest makkeolli we had ever tasted. Highly recommend this very unique workshop!

It was more rewarding and meaningful than I thought. By connecting with actual local farmers, I think I was able to take a step closer to becoming a Jeju farmer. I had a truly happy time with the joy of working hard and the warm hospitality added to it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is tired of daily life in the city. I sincerely recommend that you spend a quiet, sweet, and cozy time in Mureung-ri, Jeju Island.

Had such an amazing time learning about all things Makgeoli and Soju. The Makgeoli tasted so great and so pure for both the ones at your store and our home made one 🥰. Thanks Joh for showing us the pureness of real Makgeoli and for a memorable afternoon of fun! We THANK YOU for the experience!! 😁🥳
