In conclusion, this tour is recommended for Japanese people and has no problems. There are reviews about problems with other tours in the same price range, but this tour is really perfect. All the tourist spots in Halong Bay are quite crowded. On the other hand, this tour returns late, so the time is slightly later than other tours, so you can see the sights when the crowds have eased to a certain extent, and you are very satisfied. The only place where there is a traffic jam is the mountain on the first remote island. There were many Japanese people rushing there because they didn't have enough time on other tours, but this tour was set up with that in mind, so there were no problems at all. Also, there were surprisingly many Japanese people. Bus transportation and meals are grouped by nationality, so whether you see this as a turn-off or a relief depends on the person. There are three activities to choose from: boat, kayak, and speedboat, and of course I recommend kayaking. Swimsuits and towels are required, but if you are used to it, you can go and come back without getting wet. The time is 20 minutes, and the bay is calm, so it's not a problem to take it easy. However, there is really no explanation, so it seems difficult to choose kayaking unless you are experienced. Also, on the reservation site, you can choose the type of bus (the difference is only 1000 yen), but in the end, you will be choosing the tour members, and you will not meet up with other buses at the destination. When choosing the type of bus, you should keep this in mind. If you want a smaller number of people, you can choose a more expensive bus. All the lunches are delicious and there are no strange foods, so even Japanese people can feel at ease. There is a lot of seafood such as shrimp and shellfish, and the seasoning of fried rice is good, so it is completely okay even if you just want to eat. The good thing about this tour is that you don't share food at the table, but you can eat in a buffet style, so you don't have to worry about anything else. By the way, although it is an English tour, there are a lot of Japanese people, and you can tell what to do by the movements of the people around you, so as long as you can hear the meeting time, you can participate in the tour without any problems even if you are not fluent in English. There are almost no negative aspects, but be careful because the service area you stop at on the way there is a rip-off. There is a wide selection of famous Vietnamese chocolates and drinks, but one piece of chocolate costs about 1300 yen (Japanese yen). Of course, there is no price tag. Also, although it says that fruits and drinks are provided at sunset, they are only provided on the ship, not on the rooftop, and since you share one at a table, it becomes a table gacha. Personally, I don't like that. Also, the transfer group is not always next to each other.

Service is really nice. Employees are young active in every minute. They prepared enough foods for lunch buffet, we don't need to rush. Sunset party also very nice. Highly Recommend Tour. (The bus needs to upgrade)

We were picked up at the hotel and headed to Halong Bay in a gorgeous bus. Great scenery, friendly staff, delicious food, everything about this tour was great. We were actually going to join this tour, but it was full, so we joined Alisa tour. We are very grateful to Maddie from SST travel for introducing us to it. Everyone, please join us. I wanted to thanks everyone who left a review here for my reference before I made my booking. I’m so happy that I chose this and let me share more details about our wonderful adventures at Ha Long Bay…The Amethyst Cruise is a total gem - marvelous views, beautiful cruise, great service, amazing hospitality & good food! It’s quite a luxurious cruise compared to other cruises we saw. 1. Pick up guide contacted me via whatsapp to confirm the pick up time & address a day before 2. 7:05am hop on the tour bus - pretty spacious with charging ports 3. Stopped by a souvenir & food store for toilet break for about 25 mins after 1.5hrs ride, you can grab some breakfast there, no forced purchases 4. Around 3 hours ride from Ha Noi to Ha Long Bay 5. Tour guide will give you a piece of trip overview & did some brief introduction of the day trip ( see attached pics! ) 6. Can walk around the cruise and start to enjoy the limestone islands views✨ The crew members are super friendly & offer to take cute pics for everyone on the sundeck 7. Stopped by the chicken kissing rocks 8. 11:30am Lunch buffet, nothing to complain about. Drinks are not included but the price is pretty fair on a cruise i would say 9. Luon cave - visit with 2 options: Bamboo boat or Kayaking. Was planned to join the add-on speed boat trip to see more(Extra USD10/head) but unfortunately the seats were not filled up. We went for bamboo boat & the view was amazing..! 10. Sung Sot cave: everyone should visit here at least once in their life - so overwhelmed by the view! 11. Ti top island - stay on cruise/ beach / walk up to the top. Definitely worth hiking for 15 mins to get the panoramic view. 12. Sunset party- free tea, snacks 13. Definitely have to watch the sunset on the sundeck or you can try the jacuzzi 14. Theres 4 bathrooms on board u can always take a shower 15. Before getting off the cruise, tour guide will introduce the crew member 1 by 1 and put a tip box out. Def Not forcing anyone to tip. 16. 3 hrs ride with toilet break back to Hanoi at 7:30pm We enjoyed the trip so much and received a very warm welcome & service by the tour guide E and other crew members so we tipped quite a lot. The tour guide was very friendly, informative and helpful. The trip was exicting. With beautiful view of the greenish water, many limestone islands and boats. We went to Sung Sot cave seeing its magnificent stalactites and stalagmites, went to sampan ride venturing Luon cave, speedboat to some spots, lastly we went hiking the Ti Top island seing Ha Long bay from the top, the view was great. You should try it
