Peace Memorial Park tours

Had an absolutely wonderful day on this tour - our tour guide was so lovely and so incredibly knowledgeable on the history of the city and Miyajima island. It was great to be guided by someone who has such passion for it. I’d been to Hiroshima last year and been to these sights, but it was great to see and learn a lot more and not feel so rushed through it. Lunch was super tasty as well! Overall, would definitely recommend this wonderful tour to anybody visiting Hiroshima on their adventures.

I can’t even begin to describe how amazing this tour was with Shin. Both my partner were in awe of the many fascinating stories Shin shared from his very personal connection to the history of Hiroshima. We also learnt so much about the history of Hiroshima in the space of 2 hours and with Shin’s impeccable English, he was very engaging and relatable. This tour was hands down a highlight of our trip. I personally came away feeling quite moved by Shins very special message and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn more about this incredible city. It was such an amazing day! our tour guide Aya was waiting for us at 8 am in the lobby of hour hotel to start our awesome day. She told us that we can change things about the tour as we go along. We wanted to spend more time at Miyajima Island so after the museum we explored around the park saw some popular monuments (atomic dome, etc..) then went straight to Miyajima island. I’m so happy we did that because Miyajima is so BIG there was a lot to explore ! There is a ton of shops and restaurants. We took some great photos by the Tori Gates ⛩️ and because it was low tide we got to walk up to the gates and be really close to them. We tried some snacks because we didn’t want to have a big lunch. We got on cable cars 🚠for some amazing views, walked a ton but it was totally worth it!! We even saw deer 🦌 !Aya was so knowledgeable and really sweet that she even took us to her favorite ice cream shop 🍦 and bought us ice cream and bought my friend water since he didn’t have any yen 💴. She was so patient with us and let us know that whatever we wanted to do we could. I loved that she kept checking on us if we needed to rest. Aya was so nice that she also showed me how to do some orgami paper cranes. We got back at 4pm from Miyajima (8 hour tour) so take some comfortable shoes, take your hand held fan, and umbrella ☂️ if your going in the summer. Overall it was such a marvelous day in Hiroshima totally worth it! 🩷🩷🩷

A tour through the history and present of Hiroshima. A pleasant and informative walking tour. Our tour guide Key was very nice and really attentive. A nice insight into the past and present of Hiroshima. Of course the sunny weather and the nice group contributed to me enjoying the walking tour so much.

Booking this tour was seamless. The host will confirm right after the booking is made and they don't make one tour crowded 1-4 persons. The Miyajima walking tour was an incredible blend of history and natural beauty. Every step revealed something fascinating, from the famous Torii Gate to the ancient temples surrounded by stunning scenery. What made it special was how the host personalized it for me, making sure I got to see what interested me the most. It was flexible, allowing me to take my time at each spot and really soak in the experience. This tour didn't just show me Miyajima; it made me feel connected to its stories and landscapes, leaving me with unforgettable memories.

Enjoyed the tour with our guide Masayo. She was very pleasant and managed our time very well to see Miyajima, Atomic Bomb Dome, Hiroshima Museum, Hiroshima Castle. It was a rainy day but we got to tour the sites with not much trouble.

This is an excellent tour with a fantastic tour guide. Akie did beautifully showing me around and explaining the culture and history of Hiroshima/Miyajima. I'd definitely recommend that everyone if they have a chance to experience this tour!! 😁
