Things to do in Gubongsan Mountain Observatory

I would like to thank Ki for being our companion in our trip today. He’s very good in English and communicates beyond my expectation, approachable and very accommodating. also he is a very good trainer in skiing and snow boarding. if when I go back to South Korea, I won’t miss rebooking for this activity.

Thanks to our guide Ruby. The meeting point was very easy to understand with the video. The only downside was that it started to rain and get cold after lunch.

Highlight from the overall trip was the strawberry picking as it beyond my expectations. The farm was huge, and the shop owner was super kind, offering the most delicious jam. I seriously regret not buying some to take home! Can’t wait to join this tour again next time!

Today's ski trip is led by Hong Kong coach Andrew. Communication is not difficult at all, and also English national language three languages, very good. The coach taught ski very carefully, arranging each student to practice and try. After leaving the ski resort also additionally took us to another beautiful attraction, hope to have the opportunity to see again, have a pleasant journey

As a professional and enthusiastic guide, Mario not only connected the three classic attractions of Nami Island, Garden of Morning Calm and Ice Valley perfectly, but also made the whole trip full of surprises with his profound knowledge and humorous explanations. In the winter fairy tale world of Nami Island, Mario thoughtfully planned the best shooting route for us, took us to find the classic scenes of "Winter Sonata", and shared many interesting stories that only locals know. When we were shocked by the exquisite horticultural landscape in the Garden of Morning Calm, he always explained the cultural connotations of different plants in time, and even the dry landscape garden became lively. The most unforgettable part was the exploration of the Ice Valley. The anti-slip shoe covers and hot drinks prepared by Mario in advance allowed us to enjoy the wonders of the ice waterfall with peace of mind. He even helped each group member take creative photos with the ice sculptures! The entire itinerary was well-planned. Mario always controlled the best time to visit each attraction, neither rushing to travel nor cleverly avoiding the peak of the crowd. His fluent Chinese and Korean communication skills, his always-on sense of humor, and his attentiveness in always having snacks in his pocket made us feel like family throughout the trip. Special thanks to his recommendation of Chuncheon chicken steak and Nami Island pancakes, which added authentic taste memories to the journey! I highly recommend the in-depth tour led by Mario, and look forward to meeting again during the next cherry blossom season!
