Things to do in Furano

The itinerary was a little rushed, but actually it was OK to follow the arrangement and make a quick decision. The tour guide had four voices: Cantonese, Chinese, English and Japanese, which was impressive. It was a very interesting and fun itinerary.

Visiting Ningle Terrace at night was an absolutely magical experience. The cozy wooden cottages lit up with warm lights created a fairytale-like atmosphere amidst the serene forest. Each shop offered unique, handcrafted items, from delicate jewelry to artisanal souvenirs, making the visit feel personal and special. The cool night air and the gentle sound of nature added to the charm, creating a relaxing and peaceful vibe. The staff at the shops were friendly and accommodating, making the experience even more enjoyable. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy Hokkaido’s natural beauty paired with a touch of artistry and charm. Truly an unforgettable evening!

If you start skiing for the first time, RJ is really good at teaching you. You can see where the problem is at the first glance and make adjustments immediately, which will give you a great sense of accomplishment in one day. The only thing he needs to improve is his photography skills (you can just add one finger to take a photo of us and make us look short)

just a small area, but still worth visiting for some nice pics especially during winter season. so magical!

I chose the plan B package as I wanted to see the Biei Blue Pond Illumination. We got to visit all of the sites but unfortunately we didn’t get to do any snow activities nor have lunch when we arrived in Shikisai no Oka because the registration and the restaurant were already closed due to other passengers coming back late to the bus. This tour was still very worth it. Next time I just hope that all passengers would follow the time table as not to delay the schedule.
