Things to do in Uji

I ended up being the only person booked onto this so had a private lesson. The ceremony teacher had a great knowledge and was very passionate about his proffesion. He was translating to English and I understood everything. highly recommended

The tour was excellent, with well-organized timing. The guide provided great recommendations and managed the schedule efficiently. Everything was clearly explained, including important details about each location, precautions to take, and plenty of beautiful spots for photos.

The weather is a bit cold and the peach blossoms haven't bloomed yet. It would be better to go in March. The tour guide is very good and the time control is very good. It's ok

This was one of my favorite day trips! Etta was an excellent guide, so energetic and informative! Even though I was the only English speaker in the group, she still explained everything to me fully, just like she did for the Chinese speakers. The day itself is very varied - Nara, with the deer (careful, they're aggressive), Uji, with its shrines and matcha products, and then the onsen, which was a once in a lifetime experience for me. Highly recommended!

It was a very fulfilling journey. The tour guide Xiao Cheng contacted us one day in advance about the time and location of the bus, and explained the attractions in Japan and Osaka very well. Uji was the highlight of this trip, and the matcha was amazing!

Joan was a great tour guide. She went over the history of each place before we got there. As well as translated everything in english and chinese! Highly recommend booking with her.

The deer in Nara Park will keep chasing food, and Todaiji Temple is very simple and solemn. We have enough time to explore the food in Uji. The snacks and desserts made of matcha are all tempting to try. The photos are really good, and I can't help but keep pressing the shutter. Today is really a great day!

We had a blast visiting so many attractions. Nara Park was better than expected and the deer there were friendly, gentle and fascinating. Our tour guide also made the experience even better. She was patient and detail-oriented, and her knowledgeable and enthusiastic recommendations of great local restaurants and hidden treasures enriched our trip. Overall, the tour was a perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural insights, and is a highly recommended tour.
