The Historic Chinatown Walking Tour was the perfect continuation from the Splendour of Colonial Singapore Walking Tour, and I was thrilled to have Ping as our guide once again. She continues to amaze with her incredible storytelling skills, bringing Singapore’s history and culture to life in such a personal and engaging way. Singapore’s Chinatown is easily one of the cleanest and most vibrant Chinatowns I’ve visited, and this tour goes far beyond just exploring temples. Ping delves into the heart of the community, sharing fascinating stories and historical insights that truly highlight the spirit and heritage of this neighborhood. Her passion for Singapore’s history shines through, making each stop on the tour feel meaningful and connected. On top of being an amazing storyteller, Ping is also an excellent photographer! She knows all the best spots and angles, ensuring we had fantastic memories captured from the day. I highly recommend this tour, whether you’re continuing from a previous tour with Ping or discovering Singapore’s rich history for the first time. With her guidance, Chinatown becomes much more than just a neighborhood—it’s a window into the soul of Singapore.

Entire ride is about 35mins. During the ride is very windy, cloudy day on that day. Nice views and really enjoy the ride

I had an enjoyable experience with the General Admission ticket at the National Gallery Singapore. The gallery’s impressive collection of Southeast Asian art was both educational and inspiring, and the exhibits were well-curated and thoughtfully organized. The architecture of the building itself is stunning, blending historic and modern elements beautifully. Overall, it was a wonderful visit, and I highly recommend the National Gallery Singapore to anyone interested in art and culture. It’s a great way to spend a day exploring the region’s rich artistic heritage.
