Things to do in Ayung River

Was a fantastic day and it fit in many great experiences. Very worth while doing the private tour when in Bali. Gede was a perfect guide. Very experienced and knowledgeable.

Driver was on time, polite and helpful. He also helped us take photos. However, keep in mind that the driver wouldn’t explain much about the destinations (aka the “tourguide” part). They will mostly do the driving.

Our driver and guide, Margon, picked us up on time, the car was clean, the guide was easy to understand, and he was very attentive and coordinated a smooth and attractive tour. Ubud has a lot to see, and it was a particularly memorable day in our trip to Bali.

we had such a great time! the transport pickup and return was so easy, and they provide you with a welcome drink. they have lockers you can use to store all your bags. there are lots and lots of steps to climb down and back up before and after the rafting so do make shre your slippers aren't too slippery. you can wear slippers, and climbing the steps does get a bit tiring. there is a rest stop at the 60% mark for snacks and drinks. (they will write up a receipt and you can pay back at the end of the trip) time is given for you to rest and have some simple yet pretty tasty local lunch. we did the atv which was quite muddy so i do not recommend to change after rafting, boots are provided and you can choose to wear socks inside but its definitely not required (most people do not). photos and videos are taken but they're approximately 30 usd for photos and 30 usd for videos (60 in total). they are also considered separate for rafting and atv. the family with us passed our atv guide their phone for photos and videos so that was a smart hack (we tipped him after). after you return, fresh towels and shower gel is provided, but so bring bags with straps that can hook, and some shampoo etc. if you are more picky about it. there's a quick stop at the coffee plantation where you get to try different teas and coffees and shop for some souvenirs too. do note there are fees for card payments at the store so cash is definitely better!
