Are there any conditions to reserve a rental car?
In Japan: Anyone with a valid driver's license in Japan can rent a car. There are no age restrictions. However, for those who have recently obtained their license (for example, a few months after obtaining it), there may be restrictions on the types of compensation that can be purchased at some stores. Please contact the store for details.
Overseas: You must be able to obtain an international driving license that is valid in the country where you want to rent a car. The required documents differ depending on which country you will be driving in, so please check the information at the embassy of your destination in advance. Also, even if you have an international driver's license, some rental car companies may have conditions such as the requirement that at least 1 to 2 years have passed since the driver's license was obtained. Please check the details of each plan for details.
