Splash into adventure
Ocean Park has launched ticket sales for its brand new water park and to say we’re excited is an understatement. According to Ocean Park, Water World is “Asia’s first and only year-round, all-weather seaside water park”. WIth five adventure zones and 27 attractions, Water World is designed for adventurers of all kinds: from families with kids to serious thrill-seekers.
The park will open on September 21 at half capacity, welcoming 4,500 visitors at first. Tickets are now available on Klook!
Water World is located in the Southern District, right next to Ocean Park itself. From the teased photos, it looks like the park will take full advantage of its waterfront location with sweeping sea views from pools and slides. According to Ocean Park, Water World’s unique design will also minimize energy usage and the park’s impact on the environment.
Slides, wave pools and other adventures
Water World will be divided into five zones, each with its unique attractions. All visitors will start the day at Splendid Reef: from there you can take a walk along the seafront or jump straight into the fun. Thrill-seekers will love Torrential River with hair-raising water slides and Thrill Valley with freefalls and what Ocean Park describes as “extreme” slides. We can’t wait to race our friends down the dreamy Rainbow Rush slide!
If you’re not after an adrenaline rush, don’t worry, there will be plenty of places to relax. In Adventure Coast, you will lounge in a cabana, get some snacks and enjoy the sweeping sea views.
