Things to do in Sunshine Aquarium

The tour guide Pei Zhen is very kind and professional. On the tour bus, some information about the itinerary attractions will be briefly introduced. The arrangements in the itinerary were quite relaxed, but unfortunately there was a heavy traffic jam that day, which was the only small regret!

Exciting aquarium, with some rare animals. The different jellyfish are particularly interesting. The area for the penguins is particularly beautifully designed.

This trip is very convenient and saves time on travelling with shuttle bus instead of train. Our guide Peter is also very friendly. He is bilingual and took care of both English and Chinese speaking participants. Unfortunately, we are not able to view Mount Fuji due to the weather.

The aquarium is clean and well-maintained, and you can rarely see sea lions, penguins, etc. at the bottom. It is very suitable for families or couples, and you can stay here for at least one to two hours.

The tour guide Jax was very nice. It was a small bus with more than a dozen people. We had a very smooth trip and arrived at each attraction on time. If you are like me and your purpose is to see Mount Fuji and go shopping at Gotemba outlets, then you must choose this tour. We had three hours in the outlets and I bought what I wanted and was very happy. But because of the bad weather, I didn't see Mount Fuji. This really depends on luck.

Happy that we had booked a tour to Nikko. The itinerary was well organized and glad that it was flexible. When Tina, our tour guide, realized that no one on the group (40 people) wanted to go to the Hot Springs (even after she explained the benefits of the onsen), she allowed us more time at Yosogu Shrine. The place is so crowded since there were elementary school students visiting as well. Food at the Kegon Falls was excellent! I highly recommend the udon with bean curd and the croquettes with bean curds. The whole tour didn’t feel rush and quite relaxing. Tina was very clear with explanations of all the places and gave us recommendations of food. Mr Driver has excellent skill driving down the curvy road in our way back. But definitely prepare for a long bus ride, bring your neck pillow!
