Things to do in Shurijo Castle

Absolutely incredible and memorable experience! Street Kart and the team there were very professional and organized. Karts are clean and well maintained, and you feel as safe as you can be on the roads. Damo was our guide and he was super friendly and knowledgeable of the areas we visited. Definitely one of the most favorite activities we did while in Japan for 2 weeks. Highly recommend checking this out!

The tour guide is very professional and interesting. It is very convenient for those who don’t drive. The members of the tour group are also very good and have a good sense of time. It’s not bad to see the sea when Cape Chinen Park is very hot. You have plenty of time to take a leisurely stroll around Yuquan Cave, just enough to see 12: 30 for a taiko performance. The stay at the fish market is short. There are less than 10 stores that you can quickly pick out and buy directly to eat out. The stay at the outlet is enough to take your time shopping. At the last stop, Senaga Island, you only have enough time to buy a drink and something to eat. It's a small thing. Overall, I think it's a pretty easy trip.

Amazing experience! This is not an English speaking tour so be warned but it was still worth it and the guide tried their best to communicate with us. There is a phone guide in English and other languages with audio as well so you can still follow along. Great way to see many Okinawa tourist spots in one day without handling all the driving yourself.

Overall, it is highly recommended and very suitable for travelers who don’t want to drive in Okinawa! The tour leader can communicate in both Chinese and Japanese, and will clearly inform you of the gathering time, location, and attraction performance times, but he will not introduce much about the attractions. The stay time at the aquarium is two and a half hours, and it takes almost 30 minutes to get to and from the parking lot, which is a bit tight. Ryukyu Village feels that the time can be shortened further. It is obvious that some areas inside are not under maintenance.

I visited Okinawa once on a school trip, and this was my first time traveling on my own. I thought it would be a lot of work to get around on our own for a 4-night, 5-day trip, so I booked a tour. If you choose a tour that includes tickets, the tour guide will buy and distribute them in advance, so you don't have to go through the trouble of buying them yourself on site, so I recommend it. The Churaumi Aquarium has the longest free time, but the parking lot is far from the museum, so it's best to return early. There is no set lunch time, so you can eat at the shops and other places frequently, or you can buy food and drink on the bus, so it's a good idea to buy it and eat it slowly on the bus! There were snack and restaurant restaurants at Pineapple Park, Churaumi Aquarium, and Manzamo. You can buy souvenirs at Okashi Goten, but some items are not available, so I recommend buying what you want on the spot! It was super fun 😻

The service staff were very kind and patient even though we didn’t understand the language. It was so refreshing to watch the sea of Okinawa from high in the sky! If you have never tried it before in Okinawa, it is highly recommended. It is not scary at all if you increase the size to 120 meters. It is super safe.

At first, I was a bit hesitant about where the meeting place was when I looked at the Google Maps road view, but when I looked at the map and went there, it was right there, so I had no trouble finding it. And since I was alone at my time, I quickly prepared and left, and since it was the first time in the morning, there was no traffic, so it was a pleasant ride. There are also safety instructions in Korean.
