Haenyeo Museum tours

I experienced the heart and soul of our tour guide Steven Yanagi in our Eastern tour on 04 Dec 2024. Steven is a diligent and passionate ambassador promoting Jeju. He shared interesting information and history about the island. He was committed in serving and was with us on most part of the tour explaining in detail about the Haenyeo museum, the Soengeup Folk Village, Ilchul land and the Micheon Cave. He also taught us some commonly used Korean words and practised along the journey with us. The tour was conducted in English but we discovered he is also proficient in Mandarin, Japanese and Korean. What a talented yet humble guide we had. He brought us to a nice restaurant and helped us with ordering. He was on his feet a lot to make sure we were well taken care of and enjoying our meal. Thank you Steven! You made a great difference in our tour. We are indeed blessed to have you as our guide. Love the beautiful white sand beaches. It was also interesting to learn about the Haenyol (sea women) in the museum. There are some short hikes on this tour that will require some climbing so be prepared. Our tour guide Steven was helpful and communicative.

Great trip today, very well organized from start to finish. Thank you to our very knowledgeable guide Peter Kim for a job well done, he gave us good information about the island and a lot of tips for experiencing the best of Jeju Island. I would highly recommend this tour.

I had a fantastic 2 days experience with Lisa on our recent first Jeju tour! She was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, sharing interesting historical and cultural insights that brought the area to life. Lisa created a friendly atmosphere, which made the experience more enjoyable. The tour was organized, balancing information with exploration and allowing time for photos. I recommend the tour for anyone who wanting to explore Jeju.

During the trip, I found out that the museum was closed; why they sold the tour without knowing that the museum was closed that day is not clear. I didn't receive any messages by email. Be prepared that this is just a transfer from point to point, the driver is pleasant, tried to be helpful, but does not speak English. The route itself was interesting and beautiful, with the exception of the studio with photo areas. And although the sakura had not yet fully bloomed, the driver took us to beautiful places, left us at beautiful points if we asked, overall the impressions of the tour were good. it was a mini-group in a comfortable mini/bus. Our group was friendly and fun

Our tour guide Peter was awesome! The tour was great. jeju is so gorgeous. The hike was challenging but that's on me for being out of shape. Highly recommend with Peter. He made the tour even better.
