We were very thankful to our Travel guide “Dai” for the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, a scenic route through the Northern Japanese Alps. We had a pleasant and relaxing trip thanks to a careful and reliable young man, who made us understand a lot of information and history about Tateyama Kurobe. Thank you to him and driver “Nishizawa San” for making us get through the full day of the trip safely. Also we made a new good friend from the UK. Thanks to his guidance, we had enough time to visit and enjoy the scenery.

Kamikochi is like a fairyland. The entire trip to Tateyama Kurobe requires a variety of means of transportation. Participating in the trip makes it much easier for independent travelers. Especially the tour guide Mr. Guo is very enthusiastic and responsible. It is a highly recommended trip.

Both the tour guide, Kaku, and the driver were very experienced. They could manage our whole trip with care and attentive. Although the destinations were not as pleasant as we expected, the hotel we stayed and its buffet could really add more credits to the tour.

Finally got to witness the Tateyama Kurobe snow wall although not as expected due to global warming. Pictures depicted in brochures was from more than a decade ago as informed by our guide Teddy. Teddy was informative and knowledgeable being a native of Nagano. He is meticulous and helpful and at times humourous. Enjoyed the experience going up to Murodo plateau and having fun in the snow although its already June. Kurobe dam was spectacular. A definite must and thank you Snow monkey tours and Teddy for an enjoyable experience.

In Kamikochi, you can get close to nature and feel so comfortable, plus the weather is beautiful👍 In addition, the scenes in Tateyama Kurobe are so shocking and unforgettable

The tour guide was very professional, explaining the history of the scenic spots in detail, and the precautions required for each upcoming scenic spot. He was responsible, the itinerary was very good, and he took good care of the group members, making the entire trip smooth and completing all projects on time. The tour guides are also very elegantly dressed and very comfortable. The two drivers were also very competent and drove safely.

I really like Shirakawa-go. Nice place, hope next time can stay one night there. That place really chill! Snow wall really cool. That place actually have hotel. If the trip can stay one night there, I will join again!

The tour guide was very hospitable and introduced us to different nearby attractions and famous restaurants. When the drive is relatively long, they will go to rest stops for us to relax or buy snacks.
