We opted for the guided tour at Pompeii which was very insightful. a little rushed itinerary but tour group leader was kind enough to wait for us. great time management

Basically, it is run by The Touring Pandas, a travel agency founded in Barcelona. This tour guide is a Roman who has studied in Shanghai. He has a deep study of the arena and the ancient Roman forum, but his Chinese language skills are a bit difficult for him to respond well. Fast, the speaking speed is too slow for native Chinese speakers, but if there is no one to explain or study in advance, the ancient Roman Forum will be like looking at ruins 😂

It's very convenient, you can enter immediately without queuing at all. Buy the competitive tier to note that you must first enter the competitive tier and come back out then go up to the upper tier, it is no going back. The whole arena is really grand and beautiful.

The place to collect tickets is at the entrance of Notre Dame Church. You can queue up and go in by yourself after receiving the tickets, or wait for someone to take you directly to the entrance every half hour to skip the queue and go in. It’s more expensive than the official ticket price but there is still time to queue, so you can buy it instantly on klook.
