The car that picked us up arrived at the hotel on time. If you want, you can get motion sickness medicine for free when you check in. You will be given a basket bag with a mat, a snorkel mask, and a thin medium-sized towel. Snacks and a drink bar are available before and after the tour, but it gets busy so you have to line up. Water and cola are always available during the tour, so you won't have any trouble finding something to drink. The crew were kind and fun. It is recommended to wear marine shoes at all times to prevent injuries and loss of beach sandals. You will get quite sunburned, so a rash guard is a must when snorkeling! There is a shop where you check in, so you can buy it there, but it is expensive, so it is recommended to buy it in advance. There is no toilet paper in the toilets, so it was good that I brought toilet paper with me. This was my second visit to Similan Island, and I was impressed by the beauty of the sea!

I booked the Wat Pho & Wat Arun Walking Tour on Klook, and it was a great experience. The booking process was easy, and I got instant confirmation with clear instructions. The speedboat was comfortable, and we got to visit all the breathtaking spots, including Maya Bay, Pileh Lagoon, and Viking Cave. Snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters was a highlight—so many colorful fish and vibrant coral! The lunch provided at a beachfront restaurant was delicious, and we had plenty of time to relax on the beautiful beaches. Overall, this tour exceeded my expectations. Our trip to the Similan Islands was an unforgettable experience! The boat ride was smooth, and the crew was friendly and well-organized. The islands were breathtaking, with pristine white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters perfect for snorkeling. We explored vibrant coral reefs teeming with marine life and hiked to a stunning viewpoint with panoramic ocean views. Lunch was simple but satisfying, providing a nice break between activities. Koh Lipe's main beach is full of tourists. I haven't been for years, but it had the typical beach volleyball, people getting sun, people wandering back and forth, people drinking, boats coming and going, etc. The other beaches might be a little quieter.

This was my third time taking an island-hopping tour, but since I was traveling with my kids this time, I decided to book a larger, more premium ride instead of the smaller speedboat I used previously. The catamaran ride was incredibly smooth and stable, making it a much more comfortable experience for our family of four. The Luma 5 team was onboard throughout, ensuring everything was well taken care of. They went the extra mile by engaging with our kids, playing with them, and making the trip even more enjoyable and memorable. With safety as a top priority, we had complete peace of mind. This was by far the best experience yet, and I highly recommend it for families looking for a fun, safe, and comfortable island-hopping adventure!

our guide Mr Donut is funny and very helpful. we really enjoyed the full day tour. Lunch at the first island is sufficient, quite delicious even the kids finished their share. the 2nd island visit we had to float in water with so many fishes! and the last island is very much like the first but still nice. we did get a bit of sea sickness from bobbing up and down while floating in water. managed to feel better after buying a cup of fresh pineapple juice and some rest at the table. do slather alot of sunscreen, not forgetting the back of the neck. wear a cap/hat to prevent sun burn on the scalp as well. my kids totally enjoyed the whole day at the beach / sea. note: keep the life vest on even on boat as it also keeps you warm after being wet with all the wind blowing

This was a great day. Local doughnut and coffee provided on the pier before boarding the speedboat- the arrival process was well managed. Being from north Qld- the fish life was beautiful. We went to 3 snorkelling locations on the full day. Maya bay is stunning and I love that it is now protected. We need to respect this special place. The monkeys are cheeky. We also loved the bamboo island swimming - the waterfront here was stunning with crystal clear waters. Fresh pineapple was lovely. Lunch was basic rice and chicken. Our tour guide was sensational. She had a great sense of humour and clear information was provided as the day progressed. pack some cash for snack bar at bamboo for a treat. We enjoyed a banana smoothie.
