Maid of the Mist tours

I had a great time. Went on a Saturday and the place was jampacked. Had initial troubles finding the agency at pick-up point but the rest of the trip was smooth. I enjoyed the side trips and the hotel as well. The falls is a must-visit indeed. Truly magnificent.

Today we set off early in the morning and took a day trip to Washington, DC and Philadelphia. First we came to Washington DC and visited the Capitol Building, Lincoln Memorial and the White House. The magnificent architecture of the Capitol and the majestic statues of the Lincoln Memorial are impressive, while the White House is a symbol of American power. We then drove to Philadelphia. First, we visited the Independence Palace, which is the birthplace of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States. It makes people feel the weight of history. Then we went to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The famous "Rocky" steps attracted many tourists to imitate the classic running scene in the movie. The day was filled with rich historical and cultural experiences that gave us a deeper understanding of American history and culture. The description of the tour does not do it justice. There was quite a lot of places packed into this 3 day tour. Good smooth transfers and entry into places. The tour is full - about 50 people. Guides who spoke different languages were there. The main guide spoke 1 foreign language and was a bit unempathetic to the other tourists who didn’t speak the same language. Overall a good tour.

The Niagara Falls is spectacular and definitely worth a visit! the best part of the tour is you can view the falls from both the US and Canada side. needless to mention the maid of mist is of so much fun!

Roberto is very clear with his instructions and we also had the chance to go on the maid of the mist boat tour which is what we wanted!

The ride takes a really long time, and the car seats can hardly tip over, so be mentally prepared. The tour guide will wait for 10 minutes before setting off. The local tour guide at the waterfall may miss people, so you need to follow closely, or you can disband and wander around by yourself after taking the boat, and then go back on time to catch the bus. It is highly recommended to take a boat and then go to the Canadian side to watch the light show of the waterfall at night. There is a chance to see it if you leave at 0700, but it is very close to the pick-up time, so you have to calculate the time carefully.

This was a ‘blow your mind’ kind of experience. The Niagara Falls is so majestic and picturesque. I especially liked the boat tour. I’m glad I decided to book this tour. The tour was well organised, instructions given by our guide from Amigos Tour, Alicia was clear. The tour itself was about 3hours, with a 8hrs coach journey each way. There’s a rest stop in between each leg of the coach ride. Overall, I really enjoyed myself.
