Things to do in Kanmangafuchi Abyss

This trip was amazing and our tour guide was very insightful. She was also very humorous and kept up the energy.

This trip will take a lot of time waiting for the bus if you are on your own. If you buy a trip, you can sit comfortably and have a tour guide to explain. I will buy other trips if I have the chance.

It was very convenient to order, but I misread the ticket collection location. When I arrived at the Toshogu Shrine entrance to collect the ticket, I found out that I had to collect it at Tobu Nikko Station. 😭 I had to buy a new ticket at the entrance, and on the way back I collected the ticket and gave it to the hotel staff. Ha, it’s not bad!

The tour guide was very good. The itinerary was very rich and he also gave me an egg. It was snowing in Nikko at that time. I was lucky enough to see the silvery white snow in March.

Really amazing tour. Our guide Jeff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I found the tour to be very well spaced out and organised. The driver was amazing and took those turns on the mountain phenomenally. ⛰️ All the stops were beautiful and I can't stop gushing over kegon Falls and Lake chuzenji. Make sure you bring cash on the day as many places on the tour don't take cash and there are no ATM's available.

Nikko Toshogu Shrine is really beautiful, especially the Minglong area. It is not easy to drive there, but the driver drives safely and makes people feel at ease. The tour guide is very informative and speaks fluent Chinese and English. You can choose to take the elevator to view the waterfall area from different angles. When you arrive at Lake Chuzenji, you can also choose to take a hot spring bath or travel freely. This itinerary is recommended.

Long trip but was worth it especially with guide Tina explaining the history of each area. Still have more to explore in the area.

Tina was really awesome, by far the best guide I’ve had during my trip to Japan. I wish I could do more day trips with her as a guide.
