It's good to tour Wulai Old Street and hot springs together. After taking a bus straight from Taipei Main Station, you'll find Wulai Old Street a little ways from the terminal. Have a snack or meal there, and then cross the large bridge to take the mini train to Yunxian Waterfall. The mini train is surprisingly fast and turns boldly, so children need to be careful. After seeing the waterfall, go up the stairs to take the cable car, and buy a cheap ticket for 2 foreigners + cable car, and then take the cable car. After that, go see Yunxian Paradise, but there's a bit of moss and a lot of stairs, so people with disabilities should be careful. Take your time and feel the feeling of an abandoned amusement park (?) in the forest, do some light trekking, and come down. It'll be around afternoon. As the sun sets a little past 5pm, it starts to get dark (the mini train runs until 5pm), so take a taxi a little further to a hot spring with a view of the river, enjoy the hot spring experience, and then take a bus back when the sun has completely set to end your day trip!

The bathhouse is big and the hot pot is delicious. The parking space is very convenient. It is a hot spring resort worth visiting again and again. It is also very close to the old street and very convenient.

Hot springs are great! From Taipei Main Station, take bus number 849 to Wulai Bus Terminal. Google Maps says it takes about 16 minutes on foot, but we arrived late and took a taxi from Wulai Bus Terminal. When getting in a taxi, instead of saying the name of the hot spring in English, say "Mingtang Hot Springs?" so they know where it is. I found out that there is a shuttle bus from the hot spring, but I didn't know how to get on it, so I only took it when I went later. The staff are friendly and nice, but you can be seen from outside when you are in the hot spring, so just be careful about that.

the line goes fast and the ride is smooth. it will take you directly to the resort where you can enjoy walking, sightseeing and relaxing.

definitely the easiest way to go from the old street to the waterfalls and vice versa. it will take around 20 mins to get from one point to another.

Good. I think I'll go there again when I go to Taiwan. The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. Next time I go, I'll definitely wake up early in the morning and go. And you don't have to use the shuttle. You can take a bus from downtown, so there's no need to go there at the shuttle time.
