    The highly anticipated annual i Light Singapore is back! This year's theme, Cyclical Nature, draws inspiration from the colour green from i Light Singapore’s Visible Light narrative. Cyclical Nature explores and reimagines the endless potential of everyday objects that are disposed of and their impact on nature through redesign, restoration and repurposing.​

    Created by Switzerland-based artist Dan Acher, Borealis is an outdoor art installation that combines layers of light and cloud particles where the magical splendour of the Northern Lights, also known as aurora borealis, is recreated to illuminate the night skies of Supertree Grove. Accompanied by an atmospheric soundtrack by French composer Guillaume Desbois, variations in wind, humidity and temperature make this installation a fascinating blend of art and technology, an ever-changing experience, where each encounter is unique and where nature holds the final say. 
    Borealis has travelled to more than 40 cities across Europe, Australia, Asia and the US, and the experience at Gardens by the Bay will mark its first time in Singapore!
